Ha ha, this is like comparing chocolate with cabbage. Stargate is the best and Starwars, dont get me started on that rubbish. I could have pulled that idea out of my a**e. Sokar had a short reign in Stargate but is a meaner looking foe than some idiot in a plastic mask with a heavy brething problem. Star wars = joke.

I dont care if they are fans of sesame street. It has nothing to do with the pure quality of stargate and the pure silliness of star wars. All scifi movies or series made in the seventies or earlier are embarrasing to watch and make me laugh just at the lack of quality. The latest star wars films have been made to look like the ones from the seventies, absolute garbage.

Stargate also does have little Star Wars references as well, like the attack on Anubis's mothership and Teal'c being a Star Wars fan. In his interrogation, O'Neill also identifies himself as, "My name's not Kirk, it's Skywalker, Luke Skywalker."

Dude, when Star Wars came out it was 100 light-years above anything that was produced before. The ingenious ways in which they used models and the blue screen technique to show space battles and animatronics to create tawn-tawns had a huge impact on the way Sci-Fi movies were made for years to come. Not to mention George Lucas managed to bring to life that magnificent story without any CGI.

Stargate? Great movie, but in the big scheme of things it's just another Sci-Fi flick.
