@snowypeachkaze The reason certain people bash him is because they view him as Ichigo's competition for Rukia's love. So sad that shipping would make people hate a great character. On one other note, he doesn't want to be a captain, he wants to be under Byakuya, just like Ikkaku with Kenpachi.

i would love that bankai. the things i could do with a weapon tht u can control and connect and disconnect at ur will +one that has multiple attacks + u can trap a person in it + it shoot strong and long ranged attacks. thts just amazing
@Thegator8 I love both their bankais actually. I wish the producers would show more of Ikkaku's bankai's power though. Renji's is good, it's just that he has very little experience with it. As far as pure looks though, I'd say Ikkaku has the coolest looking bankai.
See what i want to see are some new abilites. All the captains bankai's are shown to hav multiple forms/abilites. All guys like ichigo and renji do the same move over and over

Renji may not have the most powerful bankai, but bankais get stronger over time. Just because they discovered their bankai doesnt mean they're automatically super powerful. They have to train ad strengthen it over time. Ichigos is already powerful, but hes an exception.
bleachfights renji isnt weak he's more than strong enough to become a captian just someone has to nominate him before he can become one.that or like defeat a captian in battle like kenpatchy probaly did.
@SSJLIGHT most definitely. its obvious that hes one of the weakest of the captains. sure he has overall physical strength, but thats all there is to it. same with abarai renji. while every other captain has a zanpakuto with a good number of different abilities and such, komamura and renji do not. theyve already shown all of the tricks hidden up their sleeves. and you must remember, komamura got destroyed by zaraki.
sort of because what i mean by renji not being mature enough is that he always uses bankai and sometimes never use shikai. all captains never go into bankai like right away or early in the battle like urahara. you never see him go bankai yet he is still strong enough to defeat espadas. he almost defeated yammi without getting a sractch
I beg to differ. Komamura almost always goes bankai when he releases. We barely know what his shikai is. In fact it's only been seen once or twice while his bankai has been a main player.
think about it, Komarmura is quick to anger like when facing Aizen on top of the hill. When he and Tousen fought Kenpachi, he knew that Kenpachi was stronger than both their shikai combined so they both used bankai. When in the Karakura town, he tried as quick as he could to rescue Ikkaku because the pillar was down and he his opponent was huge which he could only use bankai.
A captain could dispatch a gillian of monster size with just a single sword sweep. Not to mention Komamura...without really knowing the enemy goes bankai regardless. In Fade To Black, after having forgotten who Ichigo was went bankai on him. He did it to Muramasa as well without knowing the full extent of his powers. If Renji goes bankai, it sounds like he's doing it as a safe measure. as is Komamura.

Ichigo, Toshiro's and Byakuya's bankai's are really the only ones that actually make sense. The others, such as Renji's are just to damn large and inpraticle to even be considered swords.
Zabimaru is one of the best in my opinion. And I just love the sound when he disconnects then reconnects it's joints. If Renji just practice with more often, it'll be freakin' awesome!!!!!(altho it alrdy is)

He does have defence, he can actually use it as a shield against faster opponents, he just doesn't know how to control it well yet. Ikkaku's bankai on the other hand has no defense.
well actually he hasn´t because is he attacks the ´´snake´´ will go attack the opponent if he misses theres a great chance the opponent is next to him before the snake that will leave him defenceles.
Well it depends the snake usually tries to bite the opponent and keep him/her in its fangs. In this case Renji had just gained his Bankai and only knew how to seperate the bones, and just do regular hack and slash. He can do much more and I'm sure he'll learn some other abilities.

Toshiro's opponet was many times stated to be at least an unofficial leader. before grimjow joined them as adjuchas, that one had been the leader.

there is NO WAY that renji can become a captain
when the arrancar were first introduced attacking Karakura, he was the only Shinigami that wasn't able to defeat one of Grimmjow's men
even matsumoto defeated one, and she doesn't even HAVE bankai
the fact that his bankai is weaker than her shikai is really sad
he's actually the weakest vice captain, as he still hasnt been able to successfully defeat an arrancar

sort of because what i mean by renji not being mature enough is that he always uses bankai and sometimes never use shikai. all captains never go into bankai like right away or early in the battle like urahara. you never see him go bankai yet he is still strong enough to defeat espadas. he almost defeated yammi without getting a sractch

I beg to differ. Komamura almost always goes bankai when he releases. We barely know what his shikai is. In fact it's only been seen once or twice while his bankai has been a main player.

think about it, Komarmura is quick to anger like when facing Aizen on top of the hill. When he and Tousen fought Kenpachi, he knew that Kenpachi was stronger than both their shikai combined so they both used bankai. When in the Karakura town, he tried as quick as he could to rescue Ikkaku because the pillar was down and he his opponent was huge which he could only use bankai.

A captain could dispatch a gillian of monster size with just a single sword sweep. Not to mention Komamura...without really knowing the enemy goes bankai regardless. In Fade To Black, after having forgotten who Ichigo was went bankai on him. He did it to Muramasa as well without knowing the full extent of his powers. If Renji goes bankai, it sounds like he's doing it as a safe measure. as is Komamura.

Ichigo, Toshiro's and Byakuya's bankai's are really the only ones that actually make sense. The others, such as Renji's are just to damn large and inpraticle to even be considered swords.

Zabimaru is one of the best in my opinion. And I just love the sound when he disconnects then reconnects it's joints. If Renji just practice with more often, it'll be freakin' awesome!!!!!(altho it alrdy is)

He does have defence, he can actually use it as a shield against faster opponents, he just doesn't know how to control it well yet. Ikkaku's bankai on the other hand has no defense.

well actually he hasn´t because is he attacks the ´´snake´´ will go attack the opponent if he misses theres a great chance the opponent is next to him before the snake that will leave him defenceles.

Well it depends the snake usually tries to bite the opponent and keep him/her in its fangs. In this case Renji had just gained his Bankai and only knew how to seperate the bones, and just do regular hack and slash. He can do much more and I'm sure he'll learn some other abilities.
