Great video great train,an aside has anyone done an analysis between diesel and steam drawbar horsepower, amount of fuel used per H.P. produced what pollutants are the worst diesel vs coal smoke cost of diesel as compared to coal.They should and on the line this train used to do Chicago to L.A. wE MIGHT BE SURPRISED

My first love is English steam, but Im becoming transfixed by the might of American steam. This shows just how big an American pacific is compared to so called big British locos. Some of my favourite locos are the Pennsylvania K4s and the Bigboys. How great it would be to see a Bigboy running but my understanding is none are in working order. 3751 is mighty and beautiful

The wanted to bring 844 or 3985 to the Arizona Centenial, they show bring 3751 seeing as how the ATSF had more influence in Arizona. BNSF, one trip over cajon pass is not gonna hurt, the engine goes to Williams, plays with the GCRwy, the goes down the Phoenix line spends some time in Phoenix and come back over that route into LA. Simple as that

Does the diesel help pull the train or is it just there to run the electrics and brakes and accessories and what-not?
