Yes, we have some social programs in this country. But you still have the choice not to participate in them and do something better with your life. Public programs police have very little Federal fingers meddling in them as that usually occurs at state and local levels. As for car insurance that is mainly to protect other driver or your lien holder in the event of a crash. Once it's paid for you have the freedom to toss that policy out, be it at your own peril because accidents happen.

Or like my father thank god he had his insurance for like 35 years his pacemaker/defibrillator cost him almost 250,000 hes gotta pay 20% but did seriously need to cost a 1/4 mill. or simple stitches just two of them cost me $641 and some change for literally a 5 minute job. you all want to know how to fix health care? Pass a law that caps the income and salaries on doctors and physicians in the US and make them charge an honest rate. It shouldn't cost my girlfriend to sit in an examination room for five minutes just to have someone tell her she had the flu the go and send her a bill for $1800 sounds like a Ferrari payment to me not health care. And the way Obama is going to do is make it mandatory to get health care. what about the people who paycheck to paycheck?

It seems to me if you are under a certain income level, you can already apply for tiltle 19 which is welfare healthcare. It's been that way for years. Most states also have programs for children. If youre truly trying to better yourself, and you need a little help temporarily, I understand. I was there a short period myself years ago. But i didnt try to work the system and stay on it like some folks abuse it. I do have relatives that do though and that gripes my ass. Hand up not hand out!
