Dennis Quaid isn't crazy, he's telling the truth. Anyone with a status like Heaths, talking about the truth, gets cut short or put out of the game. Can you imagine how many people would be inspired by Heaths anti-war message after the release of The Dark Knight? He's become an idol as big as Bruce Lee, Brandon Lee, Bob Marley etc. because of the Joker alone. But that's the irony, all of those people I just listed had the same message and all died way too young. Coincidence? I think not.
I never knew how outspoken Heath Ledger was about the Iraq war over there in Australia. News media keeps us in the dark about what's going on in other parts of the world. Unfortunately one has to come on Youtube to get the big picture.
See the info in my profile on my channel page & google "archive(dot)org dark knight 911" & watch the video. Ignore the anti-jewish sentiment and replace the word 'Jew' with 'Zionist'.
its nice to have a person who has a balance between politeness and knowing what is right, and standing up for that. Something every1 has but they never get it right, its just brilliant, with regret of the short life he lived, that the planet was graced by him. Perhaps his parents have the parallel ability in parenting as Heath Ledger had in acting.
It's such an honor to know that both Heath and I both protested the Iraq war BEFORE it even started! (not that it accomplished anything). He was anti-violence, anti-hate, and pro-everything just, right, and good. There are no adequate words to describe him. I'm actually happy that he doesn't have to live in this putrid world anymore. He's in paradise where he belongs.
@halflifeproductionz Probably by design. Heath was one of the rare princes of Hollywood. I say "prince" because of his pure heart and soul. How many actors today are truly good souls? Not many that I can think of. He deserves the greatest of riches that Heaven has to offer.
This's SO good -- he had the guts to say the truth about howard instead of pussyfooting around the issue like almost everybody else... Heath was such a good guy. And brilliant in "Candy". Rest in peace
@AlwaysRi War used to be natural and necessary, but not anymore. The masses have to be manipulated to even get war supporters. We've evolved pass that way of life now, but the problem is we're still being manipulated on a massive scale.
he aint alive because hes famous and clearly isnt a coporate pupppet like many actors and musicans, take 5 mins to look at all the stars that have died by overdoes or natural causes and look at there interviews
The global elite are mistaken in their Eugenics views for humanity. They take the Hitlerian, base primitive-evolutionist stance that humanitarianism is for the weak and stupid, whereas many humanitarians are highly intelligent, talented, strong people. It is in fact those that protect others and have the guts to fight injustice that are the 'warriors', the strong in society, so by killing opposition the NWO are weakening humanity.
....and he dies.....hmmmmm. Michael Jackson was talking against bilderburgers and evil in general and also dies of a drug combination. Australia was getting involved in a war that had nothing to do with our country... It doesn't matter what nationality you are when you speak up against war and support peace...
The war was fought under the intelligence that Iraq had WMDs as well as terrorist training grounds. Clinto and Bush had this same intel. THAT is a good reason to go in . But the intel wasn't sound so what are you going to do? If the intel was right, and Sadaam continued to supply terrorists with WMDs, it would be only a matter of time before we had one here in the US.
Also, we have killed a BUTTLOAD of terrorists in iraq. People say it has nothing to do with a war on terror. Wrong.
Fact is that around 1.5 million Iraqis (mostly innocent civilians) have been killed in this war - no reasoning or excuse justifies this loss of life...
Please keep in mind that my videos are there to honour and celebrate Heath Ledger and I do not wish to get involved in political discussions for that reason - thank you.
This is a war about oil and that was what Bush cared about the most. He wanted control. And all of these countries that have gotton involved in this war that is supposedly about stopping the torrorists should really just mind their own business. In fact, I'm sure that the U.S would be in much better shape if we weren't always trying to get in the middle of things.
Last time I check, our four fathers did not build a country that fights for nothing.
The war should not have gone down period. We need to realize that the Persian people have had their religion and beliefs for thousands of years and if they want to be like us -they will. We have no right to impose our values and beliefs on other countries -which is what we tried to do. We have crimes against women every hour in this country and we are not as "Free" as we think. RIP HEATH
they are doing nothing in the middle east to keep australia safe..show me some evidence that what they are doing is making australia safe..it was safe before they got involved in the war so what the hell are u idiots all talking about. if u think going over there is giving them freedom let them voice there opiions on tv to the media that is what freedom is all about letting people have a voice.
I remember when that protest march happened and I took part in one myself against the Howard government. Calling John Howard a 'dick' is an understatement. I've called him much worse and had sent our cowardly prime minister many letters telling him of my opposition to our involvement in Iraq.
I totally agreed with Heath then and I still do now. We got the last laugh on Howard and voted his sad arse out of office Heath :)
AS alwayz I couldnt agree with you more Springrose!! YOu are such a doll foir putting up all these videos...I Love ALL of them...Heath was so amazing...He will never be forgotten....Prays for Sweet MAtilda* Spittin image of her daddy** Lucky Girl...To have his blood running thru her...She is a darlin....God Bless Heath's soul...and Michelle and Matilda,.... Heath's sister's and Mom & dad...they will be broke up over this For Life..there is no FORGETTING HEATH God Bless them and Matilda!! RIP
What do you mean? Are you referring to the sound quality? I just captured what was available - couldn't find this footage with any better sound quality... I guess it's the content that matters :)
I didn't mean to complain. :) I'm very thankful for you putting this up. But yeah, the audio in the very beginning has a strange echo. But no, it doesn't really matter. :)
He is just AMAZING...I cannot believe such an incredible human being existed. Also he has incredible class, though hes strongly opposed to his decisions he hesitated to call him a dick LOL
i love heath ledger so much and ppl always say that he was just beggining and had dont his full potential yet but yes he did he once said that he wasnt in this for stardom the second he got bored he wud go on to try something new he did wat he wanted hes never gunna be forgotten or replaced i cant think of anyone that was more loved. i hate to think of when people say hes gone bc to me it feels like hes always standing right next to us.
I totally agree with you. He's inspired me on so many levels - it does feel like his spirit is present. Rather than focus on the lost potential we need to be grateful for the magnitude of his contributions during his short life. He was/is the most amazing individual I have ever encountered...
true...and one thing i love about heath was that he probably did this without thinking about his career at all. he didnt care if saying something like that would affect his star power, he didnt want star power. he just wanted to act.
and the world doesnt need more people like him, we just need him! or at least i do :[
yeah you are right, i mean who would be saying 'yeah what a great guy' if you or me put what he said up here or on tv. but i think it is good that he voices his opinion, even though it is a fairly dangerous one to voice, even though he will get a little stick for it, and he knows that but its good that with his fame and success he uses it to raise the issue and make people think a little more in cases they usually may not. you can tell he is an intelligent guy just listening and watching him.
Everyday i think to myself, "maybe" and there is no maybe...he's gone...we're never going to see him again and the saddest part is the fact that he was just getting the ball rolling...sometimes it seems too horrible to be true---my favorite actor died before he even lived to his full potential
Most of those actors we see in tv are just empty shells, too stupid too create their own thought, ca#$ing only about their money and how do they look. And among them there was him, whith his own opinions, a nice person, a good man. He gave me a hope that there are famous people worth of following their example. What a loss.
I love Heath, and one of my questions is :" Why?" why he have to die rigth now...? he's brilhiant...and words are impossible to describe him...! Miss you Heath
Heath was... magic. I can't think of a better word to describe him. Who he was, What he stood for...
Jesus of all the fat cats and sleazy politicians and rapists. Why? Why? Why did we have to loose such a beautiful, beautiful person. You were loved Heath, you truly were and we will ALWAYS miss you.
Heath ur so great!!! I just love this guy...at least sum1 in this world knows how much one life meant and not thinking about oils and the differences of religious issues, although to John Howard and Bush that's enough to make one country to strike a war against others.I was thrilled when I saw him joining the parade against the war.He was totally one sweet human being, oh, wait. He STILL IS!
YEA well everyone here is glad that john is no longer prime minister only because he did have a problem and im so glad that one of our most famous aussie icons were able to finally say that good on ya heath its so sad first we lose steve irwin*ok yea he was a real danger seeker and the chances were he would get something but heath ledger i fucking cried and still do my friends tell me to get over but how can I!!! R.I.P heath u were such a beautiful amazing talented person love now and always xox
i agree with him, that OZ is a peacful country and had no business in the war. he said what me meant and meant what he said! I agree with him! it takes balls to do that nowadays!
That was just great, hilarious. I totally agree with Heath's point of view here. The Iraq War is just about oil and troops should've been pulled out after the Bush Administration admitted there were NO Weapons of Mass Destruction found. But, sadly, the US government and those governments that supported the 2003 invasion of Iraq are putting profit before world peace.
I TOTALLY disagree with his point of view. But it is a great thing for someone to stand up for what they believe in. Just because I view things differently definitely doesn't mean I don't appreciate what he did and said. Go Heath. I miss you!
my god i love him! i totally agree with everything he said. that war had nothing to do with us yet John Howard being Bush's puppet was probably like "ok Georgie. if you're in the war, i'll put Australia in it too. just for you!" what a fucking arse kisser he was! good on you Heath! tell it like it is! i miss him :(
country standing up for what he believed in is what a true aussie should do. it still hasnt sunk into me yet that hes gone but i guess ill have to accept it sometime
That's happened to me, too, over and over. Rememer, these videos still only show little snippets of his life - I think we would be absolutely blown away if we knew the full extent of how truly amazing he really was...
Thank you so much for posting this! I have been looking for those clips for a long time-I was at the protest in 2003 and was so proud of heath ledger for standing up and saying what he said-this was at the start of the war, dont forget-when a majority of celebs were, if not supporting the war, were not voicing how they felt due to political correctness. When mike moore made that speech at the oscars he was booed by most actors, who didnt realise how wrong the war was. Good on ya Heath!! RIP!
Oh God, I would have loved to have been there that day... Did you actually meet Heath there, see him from the distance or just knew he was there but too many people around to see him?
Could he look any cuter than when the male interviewer says something like, "And what do you say to those who say, get your hand off it, what do you know, Ledger?" and Heath starts rubbing his face searching for an answer, and then slowly develops a grin as he sheepishly turns to the interviewer? That expression is SOOO cute. He was at a loss for words for a moment, and then articulated a brilliant response that was the complete truth. He was so smart and articulate on top of everything else.
YOU'RE AWESOME, AS ALWAYS! THANK YOU SO MUCH. Watching him fight to keep "dick" from passing his lips (that sounds really funny), was just hysterical. He had NO control. I never heard about the thumb in the ass comment. What a character. I'm now going to remove my old video of him just with that interviewer, and replace it with this one. :-)
LOL - One can only imagine the names that were racing thru his head at that moment.
I and a lot of Americans feel the same way Heath did. God Bless him for voicing his opinion and his beliefs. The world really does need more people like him.
He was so frustrated and angry! He looked so cute! I wanted to hold him! <3

they are doing nothing in the middle east to keep australia safe..show me some evidence that what they are doing is making australia safe..it was safe before they got involved in the war so what the hell are u idiots all talking about. if u think going over there is giving them freedom let them voice there opiions on tv to the media that is what freedom is all about letting people have a voice.

RIP Heath, you'll never be forgotten mate!

So true
We need more celebrities and people who can make a difference to do this and not walk around with their heads permanantly up their arses.
Heath's got guts ly x

what''s up with the audio in the beginning?
closetbug 2 years ago
What do you mean? Are you referring to the sound quality? I just captured what was available - couldn't find this footage with any better sound quality... I guess it's the content that matters :)
springrose147 2 years ago
I didn't mean to complain. :) I'm very thankful for you putting this up. But yeah, the audio in the very beginning has a strange echo. But no, it doesn't really matter. :)

No worries ;) thanks for commenting...

He is just AMAZING...I cannot believe such an incredible human being existed. Also he has incredible class, though hes strongly opposed to his decisions he hesitated to call him a dick LOL
xcheergirl93 3 years ago
My guess is there were some worse descriptions going through his mind but he had to find a word that could be aired on national TV (just - LOL)...

He was hesitating over part of that - I think maybe saying it was a war for oil at that time was not popular.
And yus, their president was a prick.
And RIP Heath Ledger. Good man.

i love heath ledger so much and ppl always say that he was just beggining and had dont his full potential yet but yes he did he once said that he wasnt in this for stardom the second he got bored he wud go on to try something new he did wat he wanted hes never gunna be forgotten or replaced i cant think of anyone that was more loved. i hate to think of when people say hes gone bc to me it feels like hes always standing right next to us.
GoldandPlatnium 3 years ago 4
I totally agree with you. He's inspired me on so many levels - it does feel like his spirit is present. Rather than focus on the lost potential we need to be grateful for the magnitude of his contributions during his short life. He was/is the most amazing individual I have ever encountered...
springrose147 3 years ago
yea he is so loved i cant even think of the rite words to describe him just that we all love him!<3

Go Heath! War sucks and I'm glad he expressed his opinion against it.
ZoraZora137 3 years ago 2
Sorry but it's only because HEATH LEDGER says it that people do listen. If it was some ugly nobody, who would care??
There are a lot of people who care, it's just they're not famous, good-looking people.
violetta223 3 years ago
That's the whole point - very few famous people put their career on the line to oppose this war. He put his fame to good use...
springrose147 3 years ago
And not many actors would do that - career in mind...
InglouriousBasterds 3 years ago 3
true...and one thing i love about heath was that he probably did this without thinking about his career at all. he didnt care if saying something like that would affect his star power, he didnt want star power. he just wanted to act.
and the world doesnt need more people like him, we just need him! or at least i do :[
ohkendra 3 years ago 5
yeah you are right, i mean who would be saying 'yeah what a great guy' if you or me put what he said up here or on tv. but i think it is good that he voices his opinion, even though it is a fairly dangerous one to voice, even though he will get a little stick for it, and he knows that but its good that with his fame and success he uses it to raise the issue and make people think a little more in cases they usually may not. you can tell he is an intelligent guy just listening and watching him.
ollymcguirk 3 years ago
Everyday i think to myself, "maybe" and there is no maybe...he's gone...we're never going to see him again and the saddest part is the fact that he was just getting the ball rolling...sometimes it seems too horrible to be true---my favorite actor died before he even lived to his full potential
RIP, my friend : (
cinemaker006 3 years ago 2
Most of those actors we see in tv are just empty shells, too stupid too create their own thought, ca#$ing only about their money and how do they look. And among them there was him, whith his own opinions, a nice person, a good man. He gave me a hope that there are famous people worth of following their example. What a loss.

RIP Heath Ledger.We love you.

R.I.P heath u were such a beautiful amazing talented person love now and always xox
exquirkypod123 3 years ago 2
i agree with him, that OZ is a peacful country and had no business in the war. he said what me meant and meant what he said! I agree with him! it takes balls to do that nowadays!
stillmissheath 3 years ago 3
That was just great, hilarious. I totally agree with Heath's point of view here. The Iraq War is just about oil and troops should've been pulled out after the Bush Administration admitted there were NO Weapons of Mass Destruction found. But, sadly, the US government and those governments that supported the 2003 invasion of Iraq are putting profit before world peace.
graeme6630 3 years ago 5
I think he was a very brave, and intelligent man. I also agree with what he was saying.
I really do miss him.
Addieeex3 3 years ago 3
I TOTALLY disagree with his point of view. But it is a great thing for someone to stand up for what they believe in. Just because I view things differently definitely doesn't mean I don't appreciate what he did and said. Go Heath. I miss you!

my god i love him! i totally agree with everything he said. that war had nothing to do with us yet John Howard being Bush's puppet was probably like "ok Georgie. if you're in the war, i'll put Australia in it too. just for you!" what a fucking arse kisser he was! good on you Heath! tell it like it is! i miss him :(

That's happened to me, too, over and over. Rememer, these videos still only show little snippets of his life - I think we would be absolutely blown away if we knew the full extent of how truly amazing he really was...

Me too. I think I'm in love.

RIP!

He was so smart and articulate on top of everything else.
galrealtor 3 years ago 4
Well said. BTW, did you know that the interviewer, Andrew Denton, went to the same school as Heath (Guildford Grammar)?
springrose147 3 years ago
YOU'RE AWESOME, AS ALWAYS! THANK YOU SO MUCH. Watching him fight to keep "dick" from passing his lips (that sounds really funny), was just hysterical. He had NO control. I never heard about the thumb in the ass comment. What a character. I'm now going to remove my old video of him just with that interviewer, and replace it with this one. :-)
Your biggest fan, Jill
galrealtor 3 years ago
LOL - I wonder what swear words he held back before finally settling for 'dick'...
Thanks for your appreciation.
springrose147 3 years ago
LOL - One can only imagine the names that were racing thru his head at that moment.
I and a lot of Americans feel the same way Heath did. God Bless him for voicing his opinion and his beliefs. The world really does need more people like him.
