he obviously doesn't know that there is only i think 4 Bugatti's in the U.S. , sure, many Lamborghini's are sold, but Bugatti is a whole different story
A huge waste of money. For not much more I could buy a Danley Sound Labs JH-90 and do 45,000+ seats. I understand it's aimed at a different market/application but simply not worth it. Also, I find it funny when they were talking about not getting too loud. Just do a search for the Danley Matterhorn and its release. Its a speaker that could literally cause structural damage to the building. Also, got to love the Bose comments, if only they knew.
@NavyMedic0000, I agree mate, but you don't seem to understand how to spell neither "professional" nor "installation" and even "bass" for that matter, which you spelled as bose. Believe me I would've let you off if it was just one word, I think it was effort well spent ;)
@MoNa5imi ill give you the first 2, however "bose" is a speaker company, in my opinion the best home speaker company, you teach me grammar, ill teach you to remove a bullet deal?
@NavyMedic0000 sorry lol I'm just trying to make people aware of how some things are just not as good as their name says it is... bose isn't nearly as good as most people perceive it to be
This dude is higher than a kite thinking there is a market for a $30K dock. I want to know how many he has sold. Totally a showroom novelty. That being said great video Chris.
First off, you can't really tell how good the sound is from the video, but I'm sure it sounds the same as beats by dre. And they kinda stole the 'hear music the way it needs to be heard" from that too. $30,000? People can't afford this! Look at the economy! It's horrible!! Yeah it looks awesome but it is NOT worth that. Beats by dre would be more worth hundreds of dollars rather than that for $30000 that's ridiculous.
Knowing Behringer, it's probably like 200W instead of 10kW. Audio outputs are always so exaggerated. At 10Watts of speakerpower from a good speaker, you're already pushing at 120dB..
@Reiuyi Err.... No? 10 watts of power will NEVER add up to 120 decibels... Not hypothetically.... Not ever...
It took me 1600 watts to get two 12 inch subwoofers to 151 db and they were riding on the ragged edge... and fyi this thing "only" pushes out 130 decibels but not because it's crap, because it's limited. It has 2 amps that COULD push 10000 watts but the fact is that they never will unless the owner (some rich guy with 30k to spare) is actually smart... Which he won't be...
@666xXxXxXx666 decibel is log base 10, you know, meaning it takes 10 times more power to go 10dB up. So 150dB is 1000× louder than 120dB. 1600W/1000 is like 1.6W for 120dB lol. That is, if the efficiency was was logarithmic. With 10W you can produce 120dB, with 100W you can make 130dB etc etc
@Reiuyi Yeah... I know higher decibels are percieved as fucking loud volumes when they only go up by two or three in the higher 140's but you can't hit 120 on 10 watts.
@666xXxXxXx666 I'll be reasonable and cite a source.. The KRK datasheets for VXT4 use a 45W AB-amp for 107dB, most car audio speakers are listed 1W 90dB. The KRK VXT8 datasheet lists 114dB at 180W (AB). You spoke of 800W for 151dB. If you interpolate those numbers, how strong is the iNuke in reality? 300W? 400W? Certainly, but not 10 bloody kilowatts.
Behringer has a cool product, but as with their other amps; the wattage is a lie
@666xXxXxXx666 an EXTREMELY high efficiency speaker that produces 120dB with at 10 watt will need 12,700 watts to produce 151dB assuming linear behaviour. In the confines of a car, speakers can act like a piston, improving their coupling to the air at higher levels, which improves efficiency. I'm a bit sceptical of a true 151dB from only 1600 watt though. You'd need total cone displacement of around 20litres to compress the air by nearly 1% to get that level in a car.
@Reiuyi it has 4 18inch subwoofers in it, so it's probably at least 5,000 watt RMS if 10kw is peak. You'd need a decent mains supply for continuous full blast.
@TimpBizkit A really heavy 18 inch subwoofer will be around 350W, and that's already an extreme exaggeration. I can't believe you people are buying into this crap ; "10kW of audio power" if I sold 10kW lightbulbs and boasted about its epic lumen capabilities, would you believe me?
@Reiuyi a good pro audio 18 subwoofer will handle 800w. Car subwoofers such as the FI BTL 18 are good for several kw rms each! Of course with bass, the enclosure makes all the difference and folded horns don't need as many watts to shine!!
@TimpBizkit Excuse me for saying this, though do you believe such marketing scam? Unless you've actually seen such powers being consumed by a speaker, I don't think it's a good idea to believe it. consumer speakers are never listed with their correct wattage. speakers supposedly using kilowatts of power is a whole load of nonsense and you KNOW it
There is truth in what you are saying especially with '1000 watt' home theater in box systems. You know the ones, 5 small speakers, DVD player and a little woofer box with built in amp. Have listened to one on full power, not very loud at all.
Steer clear of anything that brags about PMPO but there are some powerful amps around. Car audio Rockford Fosgate T15K weigh 200lb each Steve Meade uses those. Plenty of PA amps around from Crown etc. What do you think they use at rock concerts and such??
@TimpBizkit the 2kW Amplifiers used at rock concerts (the Crown ones, Ram audio, Ecler) cost like $4000 each, the stuff Berhringer produces (like iNuke and Europower; as in video) is like $200 for "1~2kW". As much as I can understand SMPS and class-D amplifiers being lightweight and efficient, there is no truth to any of the wattages provided by behringer. it's sad that consumer amplifiers need their "RMS" power divided by 10 to get the real peak power
@Reiuyi you can get a Crown XTi 4002 for £800 ( < $1500) that puts out 2000 watt rms. The inuke 3000 amps are not 3000rms, 1200-1500 at most. Crown you are paying for build quality as well.
@TimpBizkit I don't think pro touring artists use the XTI series, Crown have produced better amps. You'll feel a bit cheated to learn the iNuke is like 300W rms at its absolute maximum, and even that is quite optimistic. behringer's roots are still in producing cheap knock-off products with fake specs. Though they are moving away from that image slowly. If you just want a product that says it's 10000000 Watt, I'll paint that on your chinese amp for you, for the real thing; keep on saving
I have watched several different youtubes about this speaker and this is the first one to actually play the damn thing. Kudos to the young reporter for asking to hear the speaker.

When he says 1/4 power, I'm not quite sure what is meant.
1/4 of percieved loudness (difference between someone talking normally and someone yelling) = -20dB = 1/100 power.
1/4 power = 2/3 percieved loudness = -6dB
