Adobe CS 5.5 & Intel's Thunderbolt workflow demo

If you are editing your movie, in whatever software, why would you do it on files that are uncompressed and/or larger than the delivery format? Even if you are to deliver in 4K, why would you do your edits on such large images? Editing is about putting clips together with great timing to tell the story. Compositors and match movers could use the resolution, the editors can hardly make the argument that they have a need for it?

@Hysenbelliu91 Not that much actually ;) Like 1700 euro max for the 12TB model which is the largest at the moment. If you don't have to edit in the field you can better build an own RAID array. As fast as you want and as big as you want. You can go cheap too :)

@Hysenbelliu91 Promise Pegasus costs $1000 for 4TB (4 bay) model and $2000 for 12TB (6 bay) model. They've been on Apple Store website for quite a while.
