@cultivatedmasochist: We bought boxes from a storage place so they'd all be new & the same size (though I can't remember the size--20"x24" maybe?). I think we used spray adhesive to attach the boxes & make the shapes. We covered the boxes with plastic colored tablecloths & black electrical tape. And there you have it!

since we weren't suppose to stick our heads out when walking, the 'joystick' guy guided us. thus, the yellow square was put down too far away b/c there had to be room for the 'blue' guy to squeeze in between yellow & red.
