This might be really really helpfull but when you go to an interview like this as a person you normally arent its pretty ridiculous. Just be yourself. Yes, wear clothes that dont scream "I only listen to metal/ I only play videogames all day" It really helps to wear settled clothes. I recommend black pants, doesn't really matter which fabric, a nice blouse or a plain-colored shirt and maybe a vest or cardigan. And of course not the all time favorite worn chucks. And just be yourself and no robot
i dont understand why you'd want to blend in....isnt it better to stand out...like i dont mean you should dress like a clown or anything..but at least show some personality...
@princesspinkblue the idea is that you dont want to be remembered as "the girl with the bright pink shirt" you want to be remembered as "the girl who was really smart" etc
@posterised I'm glad it was helpful! I'm sorry you didn't see it sooner but maybe it will help you if you have an interview in the future :) Thanks for watching!
I have an interview next tuesday and i am freaking out because i am 16 and its my first interview any advice for being confident and professional? Its a job for an organization!
@smileychick24 Just wear what you think you look best in (think power suit) & be confident. Make sure you look them in the eye & speak clearly. Try to research the organization before you go so you sound well informed. Good luck :)
@littleelainehau And I'm sure it would be fine to tie your hair up as well. It was just recommended to me by my business school to wear it down & straight, but again if it looks professional and classy you should be fine with it up or down :)
@littleelainehau I'm sure it would probably be fine. They just suggest 2.5", but if you're on the shorter side I'm sure you can pull off something taller. I would just make sure they're really plain & professional looking :) Hope that helps!
@passporttopretty Thanks so much! I'm really passionate about everything business related ha! I hope it comes in handy if you have any interviews in the future :)
I would only say that in my country women aren't supposed to wear their hair down if they want to look professional. we should have either a haircut, a sleek ponytail or a tight beam.
@girlygirlx0 I don't think anything happens necessarily, it's just recommended they're under 2.5. & I know it's super hard to find heels under 2.5 inches that are decent looking! I think as long as they're not stiletto heels they're probably fine :)
Do you think it is okay to wear flats for a job interview?

Which business school do you go to? You should probably not leave your hair open if it's long, people won't take you seriously otherwise.

what do you think about a black dress , black tights and black heels for a website picture? Majority of the group will be wearing "black"..
sleepymonkey100 5 months ago
In general is good.
I don't think the blouse matches perfect...It is like "from other opera"... A shirt would look better

I like looking at your eyebrows ^.^ Side note: You sound a bit nervous! There there... It's simpler to dress for a guy at a job interview >.>
