@NazishDiPetrova I recommend giving The Secret Circle a watch while you wait. The show is really compelling, and the father you get into it, the better it gets and the more you'll want to know. Perhaps it will fill in that void until both shows return on January 5th. You never know, maybe then you'll have TWO really great shows on the CW to look forward to. I really recommend you give it a chance! I recommend it to anyone and all actually!

The Vampire Diaries has been my absolute favorite show since it first started airing, and it still is.

But I don't get the secrete circle hybe. Can anyone explain to me why the show is worth watching, because it seems to me as if I've wasted my time watching the show.

The show improves every episode in, the story is great, the twists and turns are fun and shocking, the cast is great, and the show is very real and easy to relate to. Not to mention, with everything that is being said about what's to come in 2012 for The Secret Circle, it sounds to be getting very serious.

I love this promo though. TVD and TSC together make the perfect Thursday nights. All supernatural, all fun!

@iShivanan I've watched every episode and I don't think there's anything exiting about it. Yes there are twists and turns but I don't know what to expect anyway (for example last episode, what did you think would happen after she found the family tree of her fathers?) so it doesn't make them intresting and i think the show is not real. But well, if you like it you shall keep watching it and I probably won't.

@Emeilyah I really say you should continue with the show and give it a chance. Also, the best parts about The Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle are never knowing what to expect. That's what makes both of these shows so exciting. Also, the story with Cassie's dad is now getting started, you really have to keep watching to see where it goes. Based on everything that is said, the show is only going to get deeper into what it's about, and I don't think you'd want to miss that.

@Emeilyah The Author of the Secret Circle books wrote the Vampire Diaries books. Maybe the story-line will be something you might enjoy? I thought Season 1 of the vampire diaries wasn't that great until 5 episodes in, the Promo wasn't a good impression, so I'd give the Secret Circle just a bit of time, and I'm sure it'll turn out into a hit.

@strkszone Yes, I was hoping so too. But there have already been 9 episodes, how many more will it take? And in the end the book has nothing to do with the show, the producers can do whatever they want, so that's no guarantee.

@Emeilyah You're right, but I've found that the producers of the Vampire diaries, still keep some of the key parts. They still made Damon the lost lonely guy who's misunderstood but as loyal as a blood hound. They still kept Stefan as Mr. Goody two shoes with the drinking problem. They upped Klaus's role than in the books, but all in all I think they made improvements and didn't take much away. Who knows the Secret Circle might get better, might not. Depends on the plot

@Emeilyah Haha, if I still remember. I think they need to get better scripts though. It just went from 3 different storylines at random, once they can converge on everything it'll be better. We have selfish parent witches, demons, adam-cassie-jake triangle. Faye-Jake-Cassie triangle. Adam-Diana-New Guy triangle. Witch hunters. Jake changing teams. Dark magic Cassie. Just too many things that don't really stay on point much throughout the plot, I think they need to find a common point.

And as I already said in the beginning. I don't know what to excpect. Did Jake really change sides? Is there anything going on between Diana and that new guy (or will there be)? What does it mean that Cassie has dark magic inside of her and how will it affect them?... And acctually I couldn't care less.

We e.g. are only watching it because we're hoping it'll get better. But some others watch it because they love the show, why?

@Emeilyah I question the taste of many who watch these shows all the time. Everyone likes different things. I'm sure it's because some females think Adam and Jake are hot, and some like the idea behind witchcraft. It's not really a show males are more prone to watch, but I just watch it with my girlfriend anyways to kill an hour lol. I think Jake should stay a prominent enemy and not change so quickly. They ruin relationships too quick in this show I think.

Relationships change quickly in almost every show. It might sometimes even be a good thing, because the viewer doesn't get set on person a belonging with person b. And anyways i don't understand why Jake did what he did. He could have just jumped off the boat and everything would've been fine. Isn't he afraid that the hunters are going to kill him now?

@Emeilyah He's got a history with him. A father / son / student / mentor like connection with Isaac. Jake could have jumped off the boat, but that would have just been too easy. He's a complex character and his arc continues. It's what makes the show or any show so good, and when it finally happens, it makes everything seem that much better! :)

@strkszone I think based on the interviews for everything that is to come for the later half of the season, the crew for TSC knows exactly where they want to go with the series now. Not to mention, the show only gets better every episode in. Also, if you read the books, then the Executive Producer has revealed that fans of the books will really like what's to come because it's going to actually share a lot of similarities with the books and they are going to use that, and I'm a guy & I love it!!

@iShivanan Not questioning that guys can't love the show, I like it too, but I'm not *that* into it yet. I prefer the Vampire Diaries over it. Personally, I don't think it's getting better with every episode.. I think after episode 3 the level of drama stayed relatively the same. No big shockers or surprises. I'm glad that they're going to stay true to the story though. Cheers
