@Glockenator This particular model was a "Guitar Of The Week" limited edition model back in 2007. There were three iterations of this set-up, each with only 400 made.
The first was an SG Standard with natural satin finish and black pickguard and pickups and aged inlays - I have one of these. The second was labeled "SG-3" and had a swamp ash body with gloss Fireburst finish and white pickguard and pickups. The last iteration was this black model. Price was the same as for an SG Special.
@Twitboy3000 Sorry for the late reply - I was without a computer for several months due to mechanical failure. As for the guitar you describe, yes, that's the one I have. It was Guitar Of The Week in February 2007. Natural satin finish (and thus mahogany color), with aged trapezoid inlays and aged binding on the fingerboard. Even the fingerboard itself was lighter in color than usual. It has nickel-plated hardware and green key tuners. Other specs are the same as what Greg is playing here.
Sounds like a 50's strat

That is weird. 3 conventional single pick-ups rather than P-90s

They look a lot like lipstick pickups! Also, I liked this little jam, it had some nice blues twang.

So much for woods, shapes, and neck joint methods.

I'm not much of a gibson guy but this is quite interesting!

very cool sounding. I dont know what the windings or magnet material of the pickups are.
It does seem you can hear the tone of mahogany or something very midrangey or spongy sounding like a thin bodied SG tends to sound like.
Reminds me much of an old melody maker.
Cool vid.
