  • The only lies I've ever heard from him were about dragons being alive, invisible and quiet and that he wishes me well.

  • 1:46 - NOOOO, NOT THE SWEETROLL!!

  • Comment removed

  • i really hate this motherfucker.

  • i got pissed when i saw him in skyrim and beat him up for 3 hours straight

  • For the record if theres a new skyrim there is gonna be werebears cus in Oblivion he said the same thing about Werewolfs

  • o-o what? no fish stick quotes? i knwo sheogorath already says about the fish stick...but...i miss the way m'aiq says it. "M'aiq wishes he had a stick made of fishies to give to you...but sadly, he does not." :/ i had a short sword in oblivion named M'aiq's Fishstick

  • i love this guy :D

  • i hope he is in the next game to :)

  • he burned his sweetroll lol

  • lol in the mission "diplomatic immunity" the guy says to a khajit "why dont your mind your own buisness instead of stuffing your face with moon sugar?" khajit stays silent

  • 0:57 Reason why there is no multiplayer :(

  • the interesting part is that werebears are a possible dlc

  • 2:57 fap fap fap

  • ... he's back! <3 :D

  • I was being chased by a bear when I met M'aiq, I HAD to stop and talk to him lol.

  • @langolian00 lol!

  • "M/Ma = Child, Apprentice, also used to imply virginity" M'aiq may be a virgin.

  • M'Aiq = The Yoda of Tamriel

  • I will name my next cat M'aiq. Either that or Cecil.

  • WhereBears? Where? Bears? Men that are Bears?

  • @DerAmerican He mentioned the falmer going bling has nothing to do with the dwemer dissapearing. Hes a liar :)

  • @ArmbaRProductionZ But it really has nothing to do with dissapearance of Dwemer.

  • @ArmbaRProductionZ

Some say Alduin is Akatosh. Some say M'aiq is a liar. Don't you believe either of those things.

  • m'aiq is the best character in the game, he is like the ultimate easter egg of all elder scrolls games, the mentions he makes about the whole game do make sense and he should be considered as not just a liar but as a truth speaker and a character who obviously tends to break the fourth wall of the entire game, besides that he's a khajiit and i love khajiits.

  • MIaq had to drunk to much skooma when he was a kitten :)

  • @MalfatoIII There is no such thing as too much skooma in Khajiit society. The Khajiit believe that by consuming it (Moon sugar), they are consuming a small portion of the eternal souls of the moon gods, Jone and Jode. It drives them into fits of ecstasy and abandon, purportedly leaving the streets of Elsweyr's major cities strewn with catmen shivering in the grip of sugar-fits. That's a quote from Pocket Guide to the Empire book from the games.

  • @KomodoNameless Don't the Argonians believe that?? o:

  • @KomodoNameless Now it all makes sense! Skooma = Catnip

  • @MalfatoIII M'aiq is a bottomless pit of knowledge, but you must be able to read between the lines to realize it.

  • Perhaps he s right about alduin :)

  • @MalfatoIII He IS right.

  • AHhhahaahah this guy is fucking hularius where can i find him

  • @MalfatoIII You can find him in "random encounters". There are certain spots in the game world that will have something spawn in them. An empire patrol, a thief, a painted cow, a bunch of farmers, or maybe even nothing at all. Just travel along roads on foot or on a horse, you'll run into him eventually.

  • I'm just wondering how M'aiq is over 600 years old

  • He looks like hes from the cover of kinectimals..........

  • @Apldeap100

    *Googles*

    *Takes off glasses*

    Mother of god...

  • @Apldeap100 2 best friends play SKYRIM :D

  • I find M'aiq's voice in Skyrim to be much better than Oblivion's.

  • I used to be a liar like M'aiq, then I took an arrow to the knee...

  • "Why do soldiers bother with target practice? One learns best by hitting real people."

    DAMN M'AIQ, YOU SCARY

  • @AHafan2 Well, that's how the world of TES works. You can level up certain skills by hitting viable targets. Various mobs are viable targets, while dummies and targets are not.

  • damn, now I have to search for Jort007's comment D:

  • Its to bad you cant marry a Khajiit I find them funny and simple.

  • We just love M'aiq, he's like a communicator between the creators and the players. But damnit, they had better do an update and include a referance to certain skyrim memes, like how M'aiq probably took an arrow to the knee, then the torso, the ear, and even to the spine and still goes adventuring.

  • "Where ? Bears ? Men that are bears ?" Epic

  • M'aiq... does not really lie.

  • M'aiq is so funny :D

  • NEW DLC: The attack of the werebears

  • M'aiq is like a thousand years old...

  • @THEmisspelledname124 M'aiq's father was also called M'aiq. As was M'aiq's father's father. At least, that's what he said. (Explaining M'aiq's presence in Oblivion and Morrowind)

  • 1:49 NOT THE SWEET ROLL!!

  • M'Aiq likes catnip

  • @CjayCwalk He likes Moon Sugar and it's derivatives such as Skooma. Think methamphetamine :P

  • i wish m'aiq was a fast ninja cat like in oblivion. totally put a weird expression on my face when he started running like a cheetah in oblivion

  • 0:49 so have you ever seen fat orcs maiq?

  • @FluttershyandRainbow it's kinda ok to see fat orcs, you see those in blizard. but the nords!? they were WAY to fat!

  • >Crossbow doesn't exist in Skyrim

    >Crossbow exist in Fallout 3

Howard the liar, Strikes again !

  • @Load0Sheep He never said it would be included in another game.

  • I love M'aiq. x)

  • Everyone listen up the m'aiq we see is the grandson of many m'aiqs but he says his father and grandfather were also named m'aiq and I am betting that more than three people in his family named m'aiq and besides kaijits are supposed to live longer than any other race

  • His reference to being soul trapped may appear in a DLC? Maiq said too many spells is bad, maybe Beth accounting for not a huge amount of spells, Maiq on combining magic is Beth saying they don't want custom/hybrid spells (eg. Fireball and Frost Breath making some weird spell), Maiq on not remembering his childhood, perhaps he never had one.... this hints at maybe he is a Dramora or Daedric prince?

  • @TheGus619 On his childhood thing, it's a reference how there are only human childrens in skyrim, no beast (Khajit, Argonian, etc.) childrens in Skyrim. The combining spell thing is a reference how in previous ES games there's making spells, and how there's dual wielding spells in Skyrim. Too much magic references how dual wielding spells can make the spell better and more dangerous than if we use it one by one.

  • EPIC!

  • HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE SKYRIM IS 200 YEARS AFTER OBLIVION?!

  • @DarkBioAssassin Except Skyrim is set two hundred years after Oblivion.

  • When I found him I was like :O

  • 2:18 caliper´s are gone in skyrim right?

    they were present in Oblivion

  • 3:19 He said that his father and his father's father were also called M'aiq, which means that there were three M'aiq the Liar's. He is here in Skyrim, his father must have been the one from Oblivion, and his grandfather was the one in Morrowind.

  • @DarkBioAssassin No, There are more than three maiqs.

Because oblivion took place almost 250 years ago, Most people don't live for that long. Except for elves I think.

  • cicero should kill maiq

  • he says where wolves in oblivion, that make sense...good pun.

then where bears in skyrim...WTF IS A WHERE BEAR?

  • Maiq is the master of the elder scrolls!

  • 1:00 is that a multiplayer reference?

  • 1:00 is this a multiplayer reference?

  • M'aiq is way better in Skyrim, but I hate how after you talk to him he doesn't run away, he just tells you to fuck off. D:

  • @TheSceneWolvez No that makes him way better.

  • IS HE IMMORTAL?

  • @Kite117 he had a father named m'aiq and m'aiq had a father named m'aiq and so on.

  • I was so happy to see a familier face in skyrim :)

  • You know when you're a Bethesda nerd when you get all of these references.....

  • Love the references

  • Comment removed

  • @Tigerlilly0777 Dude.. y u so stupid? First, he didn't even say he had not parents. Second, they are references to complaints from people about their previous game (like that there were no children, that's what the childhood comment is about) and things that were changed etc.

  • @Jort007 @2:45 he refers to his childhood. I thought he mentioned parents, my bad. Ty for rubbing this in my face and calling me names. :X

  • @Tigerlilly0777 Anytime! :D

  • @Jort007 XD *hugs*

  • funny thing is alduin ISNT akatosh

    and maiq isnt a liar

    HE IS NOT

  • maiq looks so funny in skyrim

  • i dont get why this is funny

  • @tingly7654321 You haven't played any other TES games obviously

  • @Jort007 no i try not to waste too much money on games

  • @tingly7654321 But you are wasting your time watching videos about games?

  • Nords' armor has lots of fur. This sometimes makes M'aiq nervous.

    Haha best quote of M'aiq

  • M'aiq is done talking...

  • In Oblivion he has a better voice…

  • @Baraka552 That raspy voice shared with argonians?

You have strange taste in voice acting.

  • YOUR FORGOT "Mai'q is done talking"

  • M'aiq the Liar number 1 tip : keep on Trolling trolling trolling ...

  • i like when he says everyone is beautiful for him

it explains why new vegas whores are so damm uggly!

also likes when he says that having mysticism is not practical

  • It's Scar!

  • M'aiq can shout whenever he wants.

^-^ I hate furries, but I can make ONE exception.

  • @onemanarmy675

Khajiit's were around since '94, I highly doubt Bethesda had 'furries' in mind when creating the Khajiit.

  • @Rahab111222 Bestiality has been around for longer than 1994.

  • @MrTumnus135

    Tha fuck?

  • @Rahab111222 Yeah, I know, I've played the Elder Scrolls since Daggerfall.

  • "it does not matter how strong or smart you are. What you do is what matters"

Thanks for the tombstone quote mate.

  • M'aiq is a pimp.

  • he can take an arrow to the face like a champ though

  • Maiq is tired now, go bother someone else.

  • @MrBla342 somebody not someone :p

  • Werebears? Where? Bears? Men that are bears?

  • M'aiq is god

  • its not the same guy in every game. cuz m'aiq said: im called m'aiq so as m'aiqs father and m'aiqs father's father

  • M'aiq is the most interesting man in Skyrim. Stay thirsty My friends.

  • Some say Alduin is Akatosh. Some say M'aiq is a liar. Don't you believe either of those things.

  • when he said something strange happens to Khajiit when they arrive in skyrim, what was he referring to?

  • @MrMoldy4 Redesign?

  • @KomodoNameless

    must be! thanks

  • @MrMoldy4

the khajit were redesigned. instead of looking like tropical cats as they do in oblivion, they were designed with the look of mountain cats that would be common in colder weather in mind.

so, they look stockier and have a thicker coat

  • @MrMoldy4 Lol this one is funny, when he says that he talks about how the redesign of Kahjiit from Oblivion to Skyrim are drastically different.

  • @MrMoldy4 He means how the khajiits are now actually like cats, with different breeds of sorts.

  • @MrMoldy4 Think more along the lines of Light Armor...

  • Probably referencing the overhaul of the Khajiit in Skyrim, whose looks are now more cat-likeMrMoldy4

  • Comment removed

  • Looks like Khajits get sexier-looking as centuries pass by.

  • @OracleFefe Khajiits even used to be just another type of humans in Arena and Daggerfall, only kinda painting themselves like cats. Those were dark times indeed.

  • M'aiq said something about not having a need for Mysticism...perhaps an inside reference to the Mysticism skill from Morrowind and Oblivion being taken out for Skyrim?

  • @adg2k11 Exactly. Bethesda just mixed Mysticism spells into other schools.

  • in oblivion m'aiq the liar was supposed to address flaws and rumors about the game like the lack of destructible environments no companionship, i guess he does the same in skyrim

  • Umm I have a question how did maiq staly alive for 205 YEARS because he was in oblivion lol!

  • @OJAW12 He was in morrowind too XDD

  • @OJAW12

    M'aiq's father was called M'aiq

    as was M'aiq's father's father

at least, that's what he said

  • Miaq saw a mudcrab the other day. Horrible creatures.

    wi

  • lol i love the commentary on blocking with two weapons hahahaha.... i gotta admit it always ran through my mind how that would be loll.. gotta love bethesda

  • is it just me, orm is there a guy just like this in morrowind? tells nothing but lies except when he tells you about the sunken shrine to boethiea.

  • @Alkimos666 Same guy, He's in Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim.

  • In their tongue his Mike TIGERBORN..

    FUS RO MEOW

  • @ImAPeachwutlol i laughed so hard when i read that :D lol

  • lol maiq ancestor that travels in morrowind also named maiq looked like retard with his hat ahah

  • Comment removed

  • all the things he says has a meening behind them

    PROOF:

  • "I used to be an liar like you, then i took a fist in my face."

  • M'aiq saw a Mudcrab today. Horrible creatures!

  • M'aiq the furry...Does not like men. Honest!

  • I like the sayings relating to the differences between skyrim and oblivion

  • I don't always appear in random locations but I do I chose to tell stories. Stay adventurous my friends.

  • i accidently killed him..........

  • @ErfanAzyze He is an essential NPC and cannot be killed.

  • @KomodoNameless is he in storyline, i never seen him around?

  • @Xboxskaterlass M'Aiq is not related to any quests and appears in random encounters and more often than not ALONG with an actual random encounter such as hired thugs, thieves that try to extort gold from you, DB assassins, imperial/stormcloak patrols and so on. He runs away and hides if any fight breaks out though. You should meet him if you travel along roads on foot, eventually. It took me about 400 hours to find him enough times to record everything he has to say, so keep it in mind.

  • @ErfanAzyze He cant die. . . liar.

  • i also saw a mudcrab the other day, then i took an arrow in the knee...

  • He's... sort of adorable?

  • @Wolf6120 Anyone tried to tangle some string? :P

  • @Wolf6120 i agree and think that of all khajiit lol i hope we go to elsweyr next:D

  • 1:16 i remember that from Oblivion! XD

  • for a liar... he's the most honest NPC i ever met in a video game -_-

  • I love how all the Khajiit talk in 3rd person.

  • When he says he knows why Falmer are blind, could that possible be a very subtle masturbation joke?

  • @Pilaf1984 Well, although it's would make a humorous joke, no. Falmer went blind because Dwemer poisoned them and used as slaves and Dwemer dissappeared during a war with Chimer (Who would later become Dunmer).

  • @KomodoNameless No, It had NOTHING to do with the Dwemer, as M'aiq says, the falmer stayed in dark, cold caverns too long, and went blind.

  • @coolmzn226 lore: the battle of red mountain

  • @coolmzn226 lore: The Falmer: A Study

  • M'aiq knows much indeed

  • Mudcrabs! XD

  • also any general hilarity and observations about the game or games. ether way ya gota love him

  • M'aiq provides an idea of things that where cut from the game or thought about, answers to questions and things people have wanted in the game and his own interpritation as to why its not there( ex: nudity, witch he then says everyone looks fine with clothing), and lastly he also provides insight and observations on the current and past games (such as saying the people of skyrim look much better than the people of cyrodill, insinuating better graphics and such).

  • D'aww, I love this guy. Sad that I've never seen him yet. D:

  • truly wise word have been spoken by M'aiq

  • I feel enlightened
