@emperor1585 1. Baffles basically make the exhaust sound aggressive by canceling certain frequencies
2. It depends. Night Rod has a shorter seat but a Z1000 is a lighter bike. Night Rod looks amazing, but you can save a lot of money on a Z1000. Only ridden a V-rod, and it was uncomfortable after an hour or two, but it is supreme fun ;) I don't recommend either for a starter. Both bikes make a lot of power for a beginner and the weight/tall seat can be hard to handle in a bad situation.
@tdsviper That was my point actually... many people have commented that the stock pipes tend to make the bike list to the right. My hope was that these pipes would shave some of that weight and help with the natural tendency of the bike to pull right. I switched to a thunderheader and noticed a world of difference
sounds like shit

Hi guys!
I'm 16 and dutch and just 2 years I can drive a vehicle or cycle.
I've just 2 questions:
1: what is baffled?? I know means somethingbwith the exaust.
2: is the night rod starters friendly or not?
I'm thinking between the kawasaki z1000 and the night rod. My budget is about 20 grand

Do you still feel the bike pulling right because of the extra weight hanging out there?

Can't say that I have noticed that. Not at al.

I would say it leans right more then "pulls right"..... if you let go with both hands you notice the weight is far greater on the right.....jmo

@saxtmich
What "extra weight" i bet these V&H are lighter then the standard chrome exhaust pipes.
