this album, like Lightening and Justice, were all produced by Flemming Rasmussen. hear the crisp, cold and dry sound of James' voice, the crazy screaming reverb on Hammett's leads, the orchestral, symphonic crush of the rythym guitars, the tight, sparse drum sound....

Bob Rock came along and fuk'd everything up. he taught James how to 'sing', he got Kirk into the blues, and made Lars listen to the simplicity of Phil Rudd from AC/DC. he should have left them the fuck alone

...they were perfect!!!
