  • Please understand those children in Somalia. Children go through this everyday it's a realist perspectives.

  • I wanna know the rules man. I really wanna play this game.

  • In "With These Eyes" a young woman embarks on a journey that holds the pieces to the puzzle that will reveal the secret behind Quantum Energy.

Buddhist wisdom and the goodness of her heart are the only weapons Isabelle de Fleur possesses in her battle against an army of covert spies sworn to protect their employer at all cost.

Dr. Chukanov's real life Quantum Generator serves as the inspiration to a free society in this suspensful and wittingly entertaining novel by Horst Steiner.

  • america needs more teachers like this. Why shouldn't he be paid 6 figures? Looks what he's doing for our future!!!

  • I have a feeling that there'll be this one kid who's read "The Prince" and screws EVERYBODY over.

  • the "love and fear" or "tension" or "two opposite things working together" is dissonance reduction- the basis for EVOLUTION. dissonance is the discomfort experienced when someone holds two completely conflicting ideas at once. will is the motivation humans have to be rid of this discomfort via either making excuses or solving the problem. if anyone is going to be the god of evolution (mind the paradox) it's john hunter. youtube 'athene's theory of everything' if you think you want to learn more.

  • This is fun. FUN!

  • This is awesome indeed. Thanks for sharing this.

  • care-filled education is the true solution to world peace. very inspiring

  • I am a sophomore in high school. I have been trying to develop a model un situation that I can share with my school and then I found this movie and project. I am incredibly moved by how much progress has been done by this project and I wish the best of luck. I feel that we need more teachers to be unique in educating the next generation (especially my generation!) how to conquer world-wide issues that affect us today. I can't wait to see/find the movie!

  • This makes me smile and cry at the same time. What a genius!

  • I guess this is probably what goes on un the UN (minus the corruption and the hookers) - LOL

Seriously, the problem in the real world, is that the game never ends...

  • Reality of politics, only difference is vocabulary level and age (I'd say education but we have seen some horrible leaders.)

  • A strange game. The only winning move is to not play.

  • I am buying this and I'm putting it on my fb wall. Thank you TED for showing me this.

Our hope for a better future is within the ability to share knowledge. The best and most powerful tool for this job is the Internet. SO GET ON IT PEOPLE. spread the word.

  • Cant spell Führer with out ü

  • Dude, me and my friends would spread our Socialist Democracy by force.

  • is this a movie?? coz i would love to watch it.

  • @ndrmedadabombida @luckyboy04 I understood that he has a class full of gifted kids. This is why I wondered how this game would work in a class with grade 7 students who cannot remember where our own province is located on a map, or how to do 5-2=3. I'm not saying it isn't possible - please don't make this assumption. I was rightfully wondering how he would accommodate for this wide range of special needs in a regular classroom, so that I CAN make this work for my kids.

  • to battle is to lose, life is not a game.

Man made it a game, its your duty to stop this game.

Life is like a flower it needs to grow, if you give it water it will.

Give it oil and it will die.

Know what one needs and give it freely.

The biggest mistake was to make life a game how do you undo such a thing

  • Perhaps Mr Hunter should get together a group of nay-saying teachers and let them play the game and solve the problems and thereby learn how to think outside the test.

  • @mskarenau maybe you should give kids a chance before deciding what they're capable of.

  • As a public school classroom teacher, I have MID students and stage 1 ELL students integrated into my classroom. I wonder if John Hunter was faced with the same challenges? How did he design the game so that he could accommodate the various needs of his students? Not everyone has a class full of gifted kids, so how would it work?

  • @mskarenau He actually does have a class full of gifted students. He teaches students labeled as gifted. He talks about it a little more here. ted.com/talks/john_hunter_on_the_world_peace_game.html

  • This is wonderful - cheers from HowStuffWorks!
