2 stages present in homeostasis is detecting changes from the stable state and counteracting changes from the stable state.

Detecting changes from the stable state is related to the feedback mechanism,because they both show the use of a receptor to picks up a stimulus and send the message to the control centre.Counteracting changes from the stable state shows how the interpreted message is then sent to the effector initiating the
