Does anyone have the fight between John McKenzie and Forbes Kennedy when Kennedy decked the referee in a brawl between the leafs and Bruins? He later said that he couldn,t see due to the blood.
Bobby is like an uncle to me. He stayed with my mom and her family when he played for The Voyagers and has been like an uncle to me since I was little. I was actually named after his daughter.
Attended the Bruins Legend hockey game at Fenway Park where 73 yo John "Pie"McKenzie skated a regular shift. I remember Bobby Sheehan showing up numerous times at 2:00 am or later at rented summer cottage on Cape Cod in early 70's for few drinks . He was a regular guy but was one of the few Americans playing and was known as one of the fastest to lace skates on the ice
Met Bobby Sheehan a few months back at one of my band's gigs in Weymouth. Nice guy....showed us his stanley cup ring when he was with Montreal. Awesome enforce...he told me to check this vid out.
With John McKenzie, as long as you could see him, you didn't have to worry about him. However, if you turned your back on him, you got what Bobby Sheehan got in this video. Darcy Tucker studied McKenzie's game films.
