Something I may not have captured with my comments back a few months ago - given the way Favre is pleading his side while speaking for both sides, I have no doubt that Thompson was just "handling" Favre as he acted the Prima Donna. We've all been in work situations where the biggest complainer creates situations wherein they are "handled" and when what they were told doesn't make the final decision of the whole organization, then they REALLY get worked up. The Packers generally do a good job, in terms of deciding when to let guys go. They did it again this year with Kampmann. They draft extremely well, which gives them the latitude to do that. You have to give Thompson a lot of credit for that.
