I love the sexiness of the R8, I just wish it were a bit cheaper. I mean 146K for the V10 is a bit over my reach. The 4.2 FSI quattro coupe starts at a lower price but it doesn't feel right to not get the top of the range on a model like this.

A stock exhaust is the exhaust the manufacturer (Audi) puts on the car;)

But it's probably not brutal because of international environmental laws and "noise pollution" laws.

No. There is a 4.2L V8 and a 5.2L V10. It does not have a "Lambo engine" as Audi OWNS Lamborghini. They share a few of the same parts like the transmission and chassis. Obviously the sound is going to be different too, because its got a V10...

the V10 engine is from the Gallardo, just tweaked a bit...going by what u said, then you could say that the Veyron has a couple engines from the A3 put together...the Gallardo engine was developped by lambo and then used in the V10 R8....so its a Lambo engine...
