also that throat ripping manoevre is not exclusive to Tiger Kung-Fu. Special Forces, Commandos, etc train in killing techniques specifically like this. They don't bash their finger-tips on concrete to harden them, the move is all technique. If the average person pushes their finger-tips against the skin of someones throat, with enough force & speed, the skin & flesh will tear. You don't need sharp/hard fingers, but you do curl your hand like a claw.

2) Those who keep comparing this to MMA, not every martial artist trains to slug it out in a cage, in a SPORT with RESTRICTIONS. Plus, MMA fighters are NOT completely unbeatable against traditionalists (Nothing against MMA, though, I am a fan).
