  • will my computer with the intel core2 duo 2.13ghz with a ATI radeon mobility HD 4570 and 4gb ram run mass effect on good settings with good fps?

  • probably

  • @Minifresh123 Yes

  • lol the arbiter is in this game to??? possible halo conection @_@.... just kiding im not that stupid

  • also voice of sgt foley mw2

  • i got the ati radeon hd 4350 and i try to play mass effect on it but i get lag no matter what settings or screen resoloution i use i got a intel core 2 duo and 6gb of ram, you think its the processor or graphics card?

  • probably graphic card, or driver problems,

  • what do you mean driver? they are up to date with the latest, you think its because it only has 0.5gb dedicated mem?

  • driver problems software issues, the condition of your windows, system in general, virus, and it can be video card cause 4350 is the lowest end from ATI for their current line, i do not know how good 4350 is, but it's defnately no gaming card at all

  • thats odd its a brand new pc so it must just be the power in the card, i may just end up overclocking to see if it helps

  • definatly the ati 4350. that card isn't even for gaming, seriously get a new graphics card, the hd 4650 is £40 and its 10x better

  • wow runs great! i love mass effect, they shud make it into a movie

  • Oh, hey, I got it. It's a wonder what a quad of cores and 2 gigs can do. I play at 1680 by 1050 with everything maxed. I capped it at 30 frames so I get a very consistent framerate everywhere. Thanks for your insight.

  • dude, wat the hey! i have a 3850 but in areas, such as around the galatic map, i can't break 15 FPS at any resolution.

  • the map? if anything else's fine, i guess ignore the map part, lol it's just a map.

  • i meant whenever i just turn to the map. if i use it fps are over 60. tell me, how r ur fps at the citadel?

  • i can't remember, but it is allpretty much the same anywhere with me

  • is this with the graphic card ATI Radeon HD3650 512MB?

  • yes, Sapphire Brand, ATI Radeon HD3650 512mb gddr3 version

  • Is Sapphire ATI Radeon HD3650 the same in performance as the ATI Mobility HD 3650 used in notebooks?

  • it depends on if mobile ones have dedicated momory or not, i believe mobile version is slighly slower

  • yes the mobile version is slightly slower...but the difference is not notable, though i have ati hd3650M and i could play mass effect decently on max settings+1280x800 (had an avg fps of 30-35)

  • thanks man i bought a 600$ comp and put a 3650 sapphire 512mb pro DDR3 for it and a bunch of other stuff it came to 1100$ and i only need 1 more week to pay it off :P ive been looking for so long for a vid of the sapphire and not the daimond or whatever the other ones are called

  • cool, hope u enjoy ur pc

  • "Actually DDR2 Isnt much slower than gddr3, gddr3 just save some power wattage and is about 10-15% faster. depending on clock speed.

Unless you're planning on some Very high resolution gaming, which the 3650 cannot do gddr3 is rendered useless. "

Well ill stick with this ddr2 for now. I really think all this 3dmarks crap is bullshit, benchmarks are never right and there are always rumors on how 3dmarks works so you upgrade. I might update later on, my games run fine, 3dmakrs is total bull...

  • 3dmark isn't bull, but it is overrated

gddr2 is most definately slower then gddr3 I have used both 2600xt and pro, there are large frame rate diffrence

  • You're right 2600XT is much faster than PRO.

But just because the HD2600XT has much more shader-units.

  • K maybe it sisnt bull but its still overused and benchmarks cant always tell you whether or not you got a good system.

Im wondering, how much are you getting in the CPU scores?

I tried 3dmarks vantage and that was impossible for my card rofl.

  • I got an 5319 When i updated my drivers with an HD 3650 512 GDDR2.

IF ur not much of an demanding gamer, 1024x768 will run any game you please.

  • Do you know any good benchmarking software except 3dmarks? Itdoesnt seem to work on my vista x64

  • do the following

    1. Search for 3dmark hotfix on google and install it

    2. if ur lazy, right click on the shortcut of 3dmark and go to properties, in the very end of target press a space and add -nosysteminfo

3dmark03 05 06 have problem recognizing ATI video cards.

Lightmark, Furmark or aquamark etc are some 3d benchmarks as well

  • ic mines sapphire too but its 725 gpu clock, 400 memory

hope it will do sum good with games, im still updating everything its such a pain

  • yeah, half the speed on the memory

  • could you tell me the memory clock/core clock speeds?

  • gddr3 - 700/800(1600 effective) at default

  • What if I get the ddr2? (because it doesnt show in the specs), im guessing it is ddr2, is it still fine? Thx for the quick reply. I do moderate gaming and try out some new games too (except crysis)

  • gddr2 version will be quiet slower then gddr3, its mroe targeted for media pc purpose

  • Will it still run games on medium-high settings fine?

  • perhaps medium, i'm not entirely sure, never own one,

  • Actually DDR2 Isnt much slower than gddr3, gddr3 just save some power wattage and is about 10-15% faster. depending on clock speed.

Unless you're planning on some Very high resolution gaming, which the 3650 cannot do gddr3 is rendered useless.

  • Im wanting to get a computer but the comp has the HD3650, I dont know which memory type it is. Is the card any good? people say its crap...

  • HD3650 isn't a performance video card, tho it is good for it's price, it is not slow, but it is nothing fast, gddr3 is a must, if u only do casual gaming , this card isn't a bad pick, cause it is really inexpensive.

  • can it work on HD3650 1GB nicely *?

  • mass effect don't ask all that much, but i would say gddr2 WILL be slower then gddr3 regardless amount of ram on it, make sure u pickup a 3650 gddr3 version

  • is it HD3620 512mb DDR2?

  • Gddr3
