that takes too much time for cutting the veggies. if its too inconvenient, i would have given up juicing. thank god for my juicers wide 3" mouth, 18000rpm, 2 speed and convenient dishwasher safe components.
You don't need a dedicated wheatgrass juicer, the Tribest Solostar II will juice anything well, but it does cost about $250. You can blend the grass with a little water if necessary and then squeeze through a fine mesh bag (hops bag from homebrew stores) or a sprout bag, but it's labor intensive.
Great video Ken, thanks for your informative video. For people that don't wish to spend more than 150 dollars intitally on a juicer for wheatgrass, do you have any recommendations?
@bilibalala The only juicer you'll get that works well for under $150 is going to be a hand crank one. I like the Tribest Z-Star, it juices everything well, greens, wheatgrass, soft produce, hard produce. Freshandalive dt cm should have the lowest price in the US. Another option is to blend your produce and then squeeze it through a fine mesh bag or cloth, but that is very labor intensive.
I'm about to do a 7-10 day cleanse with wheat grass and hemp shakes... I'm kind of scared lol, well not scared but nervous about how I'm going to handle not eating. I don't want to go crazy. But I want to be free of ACIDSSS!
Been there when I was hypoglycemic. I ate bee pollen, blue-green algae, lots of wheatgrass juice, and green powders. I was fine, my blood sugar never fluctuated. Take E3 Live too, that will help. Ionized alkaline water and juices will also really flush out acids.
I can't understand exactly what you are saying at 7:37 through 7:40 in this video. I know that you mention that you stay away from fruit, but after that I can't understand what you are saying. Please clarify this. Thanks
I know you're in FL so your seasons are less pronounced, but do you find more/less success/results depending on what time of year you do a juice cleanse?
Not better or poorer results, but certainly more challenging in winter when I lived in colder climates, such as North Carolina. When I had hypoglycemia I was very sensitive to cold, so I would have to dress warmly and avoid cold when doing a juice fast or such in winter. You can use concepts from Chinese medicine for balancing warming and cooling foods to make the process easier and still stay raw vegan. If you're active and outdoors in summer then you'll naturally
sweat more, and cleanses are generally easier. I do a 10-day fast and cleanse during Christmas time with great results, and it gets down to freezing here sometimes then. Along with the type of cleanse, results depend strongly on your frame of mind, if you're serious about cleansing and do it massively you'll get massive results.
Your juicing technique seems unrealistic for the average person.Your juicing one leaf at a time and making only small quantities as well. You know most people would get frustrated in a short amount of time doing it that way.
There has to be a better way thats more practical for the average person.A way that is more efficient without losing any of the nutritional benefits of juicing.
Since the AVG person eats a toxic diet & does not take personal responsibility for their health, you may be correct. When I juice, Im not talking to a camera & I shove the produce through fast, so it only takes 30 minutes to make 48 oz of green drink, or 10 minutes to juice 2 shots of wheatgrass, including cleaning the produce, cutting, juicing, & cleanup. Centrifugal juicers are faster but don't juice greens, a major component in rejuvenative juices. How long do most people spend on breakfast?
It works fine, but in practice it is messy and takes a fair amount of strength to squeeze out the juice. Juicing is time consuming and messy enough without the added hassle. Blending can extract more juice, but it also oxidizes the juice more too. If money's an issue in the short term and you're willing to do the work, I'd say use a blender, but in the long run you'll want a good juicer like the Tribest SoloStar II.
Hi, I'm looking at this product called INS wheatgrass by easy phamax. It's basically powdered wheatgrass with honey which also includes the roots. My question is, does the powdered wheatgrass drink still possess a very good amount of the nutrients as compared to juicing the wheatgrass? Thank you!
Not even close. Powders may have some of the chemistry still, but the structured water, ORMUS minerals, etc. are removed and some of the chemistry is destroyed or altered. Live plants are matter to energy systems that produce quantum effects in the body, not just chemical reactions. Heating, drying, oxidation, etc destroy the major healing effects. Also, sweetening greens with honey is candida fuel. Google "food combining
That is poor food combining! Tomatoes are fruits....big no no ! Also, you are missing protein in this drink. 50% of your juice should be sunflower or buckwheat sprouts. (add some peas sprouts too.) You'll notice a HUGE difference in your energy level.
I just finished a 21 day master cleanse (organic lemon, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, water, laxative at night, salt water flush in the morning) and have never felt better. Springing out of bed, exercising daily, and lots of energy for study and music.
After several of these cleanses (10 days being the minimum) I'm convinced from experience of the safety and effectiveness. Also, while on the cleanse you can use wheatgrass as an injection (through the rectum) to further cleanse the colon.
Yes, I'm very aware of food combining issues, but I've seen in live blood cell analysis and in practice with hundreds of people that tomato does not cause fermentation with greens or sprouts, especially when blended. Green smoothies with sweet fruit however, is a different story. There's theory, and there's reality. There are a lot of variables with food combining, and a lot of dogma based on general principles that don't always apply. A good test: if you fart, bad combining.

I've been watching a lot of videos showing people using blenders to make there juices.Whats your opinion about this method ?
