South park is by far the superior show due to the fact that it incorporates world topics. Things recently in the news are constantly a theme for their episodes making the show more relevant. The absurdity of some episodes is the entire point considering it's satire. As for why family guy isn't good is that the jokes aren't even relevant to the story at hand it's just random flashes of stupid stuff.

South park does a great job of exploiting issues of this world without being unoriginal about it. The fact they are on 14 seasons and agreed to 5 more is pretty impressive seeing is everyone said the show was going to be cancelled due to graphic nature of earlier episodes. It has such a big following that comedy central couldn't remove it.

South park is by far the superior show due to the fact that it incorporates world topics. Things recently in the news are constantly a theme for their episodes making the show more relevant. The absurdity of some episodes is the entire point considering it's satire. As for why family guy isn't good is that the jokes aren't even relevant to the story at hand it's just random flashes of stupid stuff.

The first time I saw him was on Def Comedy Jam in the 90's. He did this bit on DCJ where he says, "I'm not black, but I am a nigger." Then he did another bit about how Mexicans have it worse than blacks and referenced Rodney King. When he tells racial jokes, they come off very awkward and you feel like they are offensive.

South park does a great job of exploiting issues of this world without being unoriginal about it. The fact they are on 14 seasons and agreed to 5 more is pretty impressive seeing is everyone said the show was going to be cancelled due to graphic nature of earlier episodes. It has such a big following that comedy central couldn't remove it.

well, in an interview, Mencia admitted that he was cheap and didn't care about stealing jokes. There's nothing legally wrong here either. Jokes have no Copyright laws and if they did, people would be suing each other all the time for stealing jokes. I've stolen jokes before for my routines in home gatherings, and though I act as a hobby, nobody criticizes me for modifying the jokes that I steal from my father. My father tells them, and I modify them a little and then I re-tell them

But in the bigger picture, it means: 1) Karlos is doing absolutely nothing, and is getting paid enormous amounts of money (compared to you and me) just for recycling old jokes and not coming up for a new material by himself; 2) Ergo, he's a BAD comedian and he still gets paid.
