I plan to someday get the G1 version for sure and I wouldn't be surprised if down the road a third party company releases a new head for this figure.

They should have just included a decent sized head, which clips onto the tiny head (as an accessory).

That way (as it is a collectors item), if people were to display it in robot mode, there was at least the option of having a proportionally sized head, and just in case the big head was lost, the tiny head is still on there as a back-up.

If only there was a masterpiece Punch/Counterpunch...

i still think this was half-assed, i mean if compared to the g1, this only changes the face and chest really, the g1 changes head, chest, sholders, ENTIRE ARMS, knees and feet. its not really the best idea when they tried to have three modes when the toy was only indended for one or the other

I've seen someone make a Counterpunch custom that is a remold of Sunstreaker but it's more G1 accurate than this.

Did your Counterpunch have the chest alignment issue like Walky mentioned in his recent Shortpacked log?

Mine has the same problem as the chest will not rotate all the way around and is about two degrees off towards the figures right side.

If your was out of alignment, how did you fix it? I'm hoping someone does a video 'fix it' review as a lot of use with that problem could use something to go by.

I remember seeing some concept designs during the early days of the "Classics" line and I was really hoping he would get the proper update he deserved....unfortunately we got this instead. Just a cheap remold/repaint with a tiny ass head and boring alignment change feature. The original Punch/Counter Punch's conversion between Autobot and Decepticon was a bit more creative and intricate..simple but better. This guy just comes to me as a dissapointmen

@cortes2k Also I don't like the fact that the Autobot head doesn't have the "mouth plate" look which the original Punch toy had. Oh sure he didn't have it in the G1 cartoon but it's not like he did much (just like my boy Sixshot) any ways. However in the Japanese Headmasters Cartoon he had more screen time and he did have the "mouth plate" look which in my opinion looks better. So now what really grinds my gears is that Hasbro expects us to pay 30 to 40 bucks for this fan favorite....

Dangg. The idea is there, just the execution could've been better. TCC should've done more, like cover the screws like how FansProject does is, bigger head like you said, and they hands they should've molded the thumb right in the middle like energon primes.

I'm never a fan of Collector's Club exclusives but loving Punch/Counterpunch as much as I do, I think they did a fantastic job on this...love to get my grubby hands on it, but all I have to offer them for it is my love

The Transformers equivalent of the shrunken head guy from Beetlejuice. I've always wanted that.

In a way, it doesn't look horrible just on it's own, but as soon as it's compared to Sideswipe/Sunstreaker, the head's size is a laugh fest.
