This was pretty much the only time her beak was so long - we had been traveling a lot and she was still skittish about letting me trim her beak myself. I understand your concern - it is not a problem :)
how did you get your parrot to take th harness? I have one for mine but she hates it. I have tried to get her used to it but she just attacks it and winds up almost choking herself. how do i stop her from doing that?
I think some of it was luck - she is relatively easy-going and doesn't hold a grudge. I started her off very slowly, the entire process took me over 8 months. The first week, all I did was put the harness on her and leave it on for ~10 minutes. Once it was on, I would take her outside and walk around with her. She loves walks, so I guess this might have distracted her enough to help. I think she figured out that in order to go outside or to work with me, she had to be wearing the harness.
Aside from that, I spent some time "fine-tuning" the fit of the harness. I don't think she could hurt herself with this kind if she tried! I now have a color that blends in with the blue in her feathers. She will sometimes still pick at it, and some mornings she acts like she has never seen a harness before, but overall it worked out great.
is she wearing something like a bird leash?

It is such a wonderful situation that you can bring your bird to work. I bet is calming and stress relieving for your coworkers.

It does have a great impact on the office environment! She will often be passed from person to person over the course of the day.
