I agree with him 100% you ask for your steak well done and it comes out dry that's what you get... Everyone knows you should order a good cut of meat medium rare.
Look how thick that steak is! How the hell are you supposed to cook that well done without burning the outside and loosing all the juices? That is on the customer for being too stupid to order good food. Like Gordon said, if you want it well done that's your choice as a customer, but he can't control the fact that you have no taste buds, or the slightest knowledge of how steak is prepared.

i can understand what gordon is saying. when i first started cooking i overcooked one of my steaks perfectly medium rare and the other one well done(unintentionally). They were both the same quality beef but the well done one felt like rubber and tasted worst.
so is gordan to be responsible for any and everything done by all his cooks? even god isn't held responsible for all bad things done by people. what was the point of taking that picture? if one isn't satisfied with the food it should be sent back and redone.

I have been fortunate enough to dine in many fine dining establishments, including Gordon Ramsay in NYC and I must say Gordon's food is amazing. Any chef that can maintain a Michelin 3 star restaurant has to be an amazing chef!
