Why all the negative comments 'springsteen is better than the murphys and vice versa'? im a fan of both so will enjoy it for what it is, just enjoy it.
This band must suck if a 60 something year old man is totally showing them up lol. it would be cool though if someone like him knew one of my bands song and played with us
Amazing the ability that Bruce has to rock this group......jumping up and down with the energy of a teenager. Bruce brought me but the Murphy's have caught my attention. Thanks Bruce!!

The rest of it is good too. Fair play to the guy with the crappy phone/camera. I would have ran to Bruce as soon as I saw him (as many are compelled to do) and got thrown out by those burly fellows at the front. There would be no video!
They are playing here in NJ on July 28th maybe Bruce will show up That would be so kick ass. This is a awesomw video Hell Im going to have to take the audio from this.
QUEORAY --- Thank You for having the presence of mind to capture this dazzling fricken' GREAT moment in BOSTON ROCK n' ROLL HISTORY. Awesome job. Thank You !!!
I remember being a kid, a young punk and buying Murphy's records at my local punk shop in Rome (RIP Valerio Marchi) and feeling so lonely cuz I loved that and I loved Bruce... that's kind of a wounderfull dream full of good energies... I mean bruce is 63 and still rocks like... A PUNK! I always felt he was one of us :D
PURELY AWESOME!!!!! Who knew the Boss was a Murphys fan!!!! I have always loved and appreciated Bruce from way before "Born in the USA". Go deeper; "The Ghost of Tom Joad" (NOT RATM's song-but a great cover). Bruce is awesome!!!!
I am very glad that I could watch the Boss playing his own song with another band, not E-street band. Once in a while, such a rare performance is great to be seen.
What a combination! I have seen both the Dropkick Murphys and The Boss awesome to see they are working together but I do miss Little Steven and Big Man =(
this is ridiculously incredible. its beyond belief that some people got to experience that insane combinantion. and to all those bitching about the camera quality, i wouldnt even be arsed to take my camera out, id be too busy jumpin around, so try to show so fuckin apprectiation. THE BOSS <3
@scottymac314 This is not a great video. It's not at all steady plus the sound is kinda muffled for some of it so it can't be great. At least it's the whole 10 minutes of Bruce and not some idiotic 17 or 23 second snippet.
And even though the vid quality is nauseating, I am happy that this got recorded and is up here to see. Bruce is full of energy and having a good time. Fun to watch!
What a great combination of "then and now." Too bad the video and audio is terrible on this, it would have been good to see and hear a decent version of this rather than a shaky, tinny one. I'm surprised Rolling Stone put it on their website it's such bad quality. Other than that, it was great to see Springsteen still has it.
I was there ( and actually quite close to the person taking this video). The entire show really was incredible and the energy in the HoB when Bruce hit the stage was something for the books!
Parkington Sisters behind the band on vocals and instruments are L-R: Ariel- violin; Lydia-cello; Sarah-violin; Nora violin; Rose Accordian. Awesome show at Mohegan even without the Boss This is epic! thanks for posting
Fantastic

You can tell just by watching him play how much Springsteen loves what he does. That kind of passion for music is absolutely inspiring.
