I am getting my cpc1100 on Friday and cant wait any longer!!Is it okay to power the scope off the mains using a celestron power adapter?I dont trust the celestron 17 amp power tank (It did not get a very good writeup in the forun's.Please advise me what to do,thank's.
Yes, and focal reducer would work but you are limited to no longer than 40mm 55mm Televue is too long and will cause vingetting. at f/10 its 2800mm FL and at 6.3 Its 1764mm. so 40mm= 44x. at f/6.3 40mm=70x at f/10

For imaging, nothing beat a c11 with hyperstar and a good DSLR.

Yes, 'mirror flop' may be a problem when imaging; pity scope has no mirror lock.

nice video. would a focal reducer work with this scope, to allow a reduced magnification to get the full nebula in the field?
