  • my respect for the great poetry of Nikos Gatsos

  • Interesting orchestration made by maestro George Hatzinassios in 1985 who always used the latest musical techniques to achieve a modern and up-to-date sound in his musical pieces. Funny Hatzinassios always tend to have one of these strange-sounding songs on each artist's album (The digital electronic Psychaedelic "Ta simata" from 1983 written for Greek singer Marinella is another case by the nutcase :-) ). Thankfully though - This was an easy case for highly skilled Mouskouri.

  • wow, great song and good job on the video. I love it. I wonder if someone can put a dance to it. It almost reminds me of the war dances of Pontos. First time I heard the song too.

  • Dionasa, thank you for posting such a stirring and magnificent song and video, along with the others that you posted. Wonderful!

  • thank youfor your good comment my friend

    Are you Greek?

  • No, Dionasa, I am French Canadian but I have listened to Nana Mouskouri for the better part of four decades now, and love especially the beautiful Greek songs she has shared with the world. Greek is one language I want to learn before I die (whenever that shall be).
