It's amazing how much raw vulnerability Tori is able to let loose of. You can see her pain and her reliving in this masterpiece. She is the "it" woman for me. So terribly underrated, though.
I like it when the audience quiets down because they are put in a trance by this artist. You'll notice that in the best live music clips. I want to hear the song, not the crowd, but sometimes it's hard to hypnotize the masses like that no matter who you are.
She looks especially pretty to me at this concert. She was ON that night! Her live performances are astounding. Oh... to have been in that audience that night...
i was a strict metal/rock/thrash guy years ago (before i grew up, lol) and i happened to stumble on this exact recording when it originally aired. i remember being totally blown away at every aspect of this from the emotion, the power, the skill, and the sheer beauty and flat out awesomeness of this song and her abilities to sing and play. watching it again after all these years and i'm still blown away. it is because of this very perfomance that i was a closet tori fan for years.
Similar story for me. But I came across Me and A Gun, and was trying to think of a mocking comment till I learned the story of the song and became completely amazed by her courage and magic. I've been exploring all her songs since (3-4 months), and keep being pleasnatly surprised by them all. My current favorite is still Bliss though.
