He's actually from Whangarei, which is in New Zealand. He moved to Australia at a young age, not sure exactly how old he was. I'm from Canada and I currently live in NZ, I think it's strange that Keith became a country music star cause not that many people seem to like it down here... interesting that he took a liking to it rather than another genre while I'm sure that many of his schoolmates and friends weren't too fond of it... I guess that just shows his individuality?
