@Multi0703 Yes, I will. Seems I have agreed to read two books and you only have to read one. Ah well. I look forward to your comments after you have read Robertson.
Oh yeah my friend:I forgot to give you a third one, hope you speak Italian, French or Spanish because this one has not been published yet in English unfortutely. It was written by the Italian journalists Paolo Rodari and Andrea Tornielli and in Spanish (which is the version in which I read it,it is called "En defensa del Papa"- In defense of the Pope) and it pretty much talks about the lies that the media try to bring about the Pope, ncluding "human rights abuses")
@Multi0703 I speak and read French - I also teach it. And I read Latin (ironic isnt it). It is the only thing for which I am grateful to the Christian Brothers - though my Latin master was a lay teacher. However, I think two Catholic books are enough for me - how many does it require to make your case? I am content with the one to support mine. As for lies about human rights abuses, you are odds with the Vatican. If they are lies, why has the Church apologised for them?

@mikelheron20 Do you even understand what is happening here? The address was a most intelligent, highly academic and well written one. Agree or disagree but you must first understand it. You obviously have a narrow agenda and have no idea what was said here.
Long live to the Catholic, Ortodox, Anglican, Lutheran and Copt Church!
As a catholic, I believe in God, Jesuchrist, the Holy Ghost and our Holy Mother Mary, like the other churches, so I think that we need to be only one church once again, because in this wolrd, that is getting worse and worse, we need to be together and support us as the christians we are.
Greetings from Uruguay, y viva nuestro Señor Jesús!
@lealowo answers: 1. He has what he is given to him as priest, bishop and pope. All Catholic priests wear '2nd hand'. 2. He wears the ring of St. Peter. It does not belong to him but the office. In the same way Elizabeth II of England wears all sorts of things she does not actually own. 3. The Church is the biggest charity in the world. ( and I work for Oxfam) it runs schools, hospitals, universities and aid agencies all over the world. How much did you give to Charity last week?
@lealowo How is his life more luxurious by the presence of those jewels? How is is life more decadent for the presence of that wealth. Would you be angry if he sat beneath a beautiful tree that others could not reach?
It isnt how much wealth they have, it is whether he uses that to thumb his nose and aggrandize himself or whether he serves those in his ministry.
@fishintheflow just saying he should be the first to set an example of how humans can be generous to eachother, The way i see it is the popes wear fancy outfits and live in fancy houses because otherwise people wouldn't pay much attention to some homeless guy. and that i think is a shame. as if somehow the things the man say are more credible or less credible depending on this outfit, his house, or his car. I really mean no offense to the religion itself, and im sorry if i offended you
Bercow is a silly little man. He is a prat and his wife is a ...what can we call her? Not the statesmanslike and measured introduction we expect. Benedict is the voice we should listen to.
I would urge Catholics and non-Catholics alike to watch this documentary on Youtube.

I have 3 regular questions and then one good question:
How many outfits does the pope has?
How many jewels?
How much is it all worth?
and finally, why on earth doesn't he give all that money to charity and start dressing like his Guide did 2000 years ago?

Catholics are prohibited to rule England, ¿Is that free thinking form the prospective of lords?

@jorgecarrillo2 not really considering Anglicanism is the state religion. Tolerance not subordination
