they make many of them themselves. But you can get buildings from the usual suspects: Walthers Milwaukee, Faller, Vollmer, Kibri, Heljan etc...

Das LOXX wollte mal größer, besser, toller werden als das MiWuLa, und was ist passiert? Sie haben sich blamiert mit einem vollkommen unrealistischen Flughafen und mit lieblos gestalteten Landschaften... es zeigt, wohin Überheblichkeit führen kann.

Klar, jede Schauanlage hat irgendwo ihre Berechtigung, aber keine wird jemals die unglaubliche Perfektion der Hamburger erreichen.

I've been a fan, just a spectator admiring model trains >50 years. That is the most impressive layout ever! The modelmakers are true artists

It just doesn't get better than that! An extraordinary set! No words to describe it's awesomeness. The professionalism and realism are unsurpassed. BTW, I'm glad to see model tramways exist. Have always wondered about that. One of my fave parts of the video.

no, it's in the shopping center at the Alexanderplatz in the very center where the broadcast tower is.

Hamburgs is much bigger than this and what is much more important: it's more detailed, they have better ideas and they still develop on and on.. loxx is a nice modeltrain, the "miniaturwunderland" in hamburg is it's own Universe.

On this one I actually like the background piano music - it reminds me of a modelrailroad shop in Kankakee, Illinois in the early 1990's that always had piano music playing, at the same time I was looking at all the trains, albeit American trains..

really a difficult decision. But you will have a much wider variety of realistic trains when you choose a German one: you can run trains from all over Europe on it (especially freight cars).
