The recon, ok so from package its not as good as the Stampede auto rifle, but if you get some more mags and darts its a great buy, deffinatly worth your money! If you dont like it but own other guns, it has great attachments that come with it! But Id recomend washing out the barrel every now and then, as they can get unreliable the older they get...

guys your so retarded. the best nerf gun is the ALFA TROOPER CS-18. it holds 18 bullets in 1 mag. and u can hold the trigger down and keep pumping for rapid fire. look at a review. itz the best out of every nerf gun. itz only competition is the recon cause thats pretty beast too. :P. @dylandq10 No. The Recon is terrible. It has terrible range, and the only 'useful' attachment is the light. The Vulcan has the advantage of range and superior staying power due to the larger belt over the smaller magazine. Though, admittedly now the Stampede outclasses everything, and almost all of these guns are now out-shined by the newer additions, at the time the Vulcan was the best gun, period.

@CSMatherly Bullshit. My building used two Vulcans to cover the student entrance (we played so dorms weren't safe zones). Vulcans make fantastic fixed-positions. Even better then the Stampede thanks to the tripod. Admittedly, the Stampede makes a better overall gun, but the Vulcan has superior staying, range, and flexibility when compared to the stock Recon.
