I was confused at first because her Jacobian was 4 and not 1/4.
I then realized that she expressed the variables as u in terms of x before calculating the determinant. So 4dxdy=dudv, and dxdy=1/4dudv Just another way of doing the problem.

or you can look at it this way : the area of the bounded region in X-Y domain is four times the area bounded in the U-V domain
