Bro, Nathan recorded the first album on a Macbook with the internal mic and used a trial version of GarageBand to mix the songs. Definitely wasn't studio material, but was a very creative porject and shows idea. Besides, the first album was amazing.

@waggleparty they are "odd chords" I guess you could say. Modest Mouse uses the same G7 shape for "Interstate 8". If you look up the tab for that you'll see what I mean! Verse: C7 - A7 - D7 - A7 - D7 - A7 x2 Chorus: C7 - G7 - D7. Not sure about the "wipe all the sweat from my eyes" part, but this is what i could figure out at 3am with my guitar. xD

Pavement are a pop band, so were sonic youth and minor threat. as is 99% of most music nowadays.
