Ok I had it severe and I found several things to help me. The first things over the counter are Scalpicin for the scalp. Hydorcorisone cream can be bought at the Dollar store. @windymo try changing his diet to fruits and vegtables and avoid dairy (avoid citric fruit), trust me I developed Psoriasis when I was 8 and I'm now 15. Seven years of my life of name-calling :( But if you follow that It helps a lot and expose the skin to the air and sun, tight clothes irritate the skin. I know by fact that Psoriasis is triggered by stress and its hard not to stress about it but some-how some-way he has to relax.
