  • Definitely one of my favorite Todd Edwards tracks....probably right behind "Nicole"

  • hot track love it<dj disciple rock this shit on his underground show,90s house the best ara of house music hands down.

  • Classic and amazing!

  • Definitely Todd's best remix. In a way it's not even a remix but a completely new song. Remember when it came, i was knocked to my knees because it was so brilliant.

  • reminds me of when i fell off my motorbike and broke my leg it was just the best time ever and true party times

    Awesome

  • I LOVE THIS TRACK! Its Todd's BEST Remix!

  • i had to buy this track,,,i used to dj in the clubs,,,it went down like a treat

  • I first heard this song in 1996. I've been looking for it every since. Todd Edwards is my favorite artist/producer period and this is my favorite song PERIOD. Simply amazing. The emotions, the energy, the sound!

  • pure genius though never really played this much in my sets as at the time was into hard house /trance but got into garage a year or so later and by then the sound of garage went more UK sounding so didn't fit in too well but what a great tune x

  • My best Todd Edwards Record i own, then SAMPLE CHOIR comes next in line!!

  • This is an absolutely delicious example of the musical prodigy that is Todd "the God" Edwards.

You chumps out there arguing whether this would be catergorically defined as house or garage should get a life. Who gives a fuck, it's absolutely fucking wicked....!!!

  • OH MY FUCKIN GOSH!!!!

  • JIZZED IN MY PANTS

  • This has gotta be the best version of this song me thinks :)

  • wow been after this for ages what a tune

  • I'm not sure why people make it seem like UK Garage and House music are different from each other. In my books, UK Garage is a subgenre of House music, especially since UK Garage originated from New York House music in the mid 90's.

On the flip side, this track is the shit! One of my favorites from Todd!

  • i guess its because 2step garage and then grime came out of uk garage and many ppl associate with that as oppose the the early speed (uk) garage classics...

  • @stevensnewest1119

The problem is just the definition of house today; many people think they listen to house, where I personally think it's too much dance pop to be true house.

Love to this track from here!

  • this is brilliant. Todd Edwards used this choppy style on loads of remixes but this was easily the best. So jazzy, so funked up.

One of my favourite tracks of the late 90s.

  • tall paul mix is the best with that phat bassline!

  • ohh i found the tall paul mix on here

    watch?v=8RURSlhX80Q

But its called the original mix which is a typo!

  • I'm can't agree. It's like crack rave music.

  • LOL its too lost to be rave music.. its just tipical dance music of that time

  • i mean slow

  • Well... I was actively playing dance music at clubs in 96 and that wasn't what it sounded like to me. Ron Trent, Chez Damier, Dj Sneak, Dan Bell, Todd Synes, Glenn Underground, Secret Ingredients, Mood Man, KOT, Derick Carter, Todd edwards ect is what I heard everywhere; that Tall Paul Mix really does sound like primitive, early, Rave music with a garage beat IMO.

  • Trust me, i use to mix this kinda music all the time bk in the day.. and this is tipical house/dance music of 96... BMP around the 30s with other tracks like libido, 2nd coming, Atlantic ocean watefall... to me early prodigy is rave.

Tracks like i mentioned paved the way to hardhouse (first knwn as hardbag) if any thing. but thats just IMO and we agree to disagree :)

  • Are you seriously trying to tell me that that doesn't sound like old Prodigy with garage beats over it? The sound, the pattern, it's just screaming old rave. The Tall Paul track was top the 40 style of 96 if that. The mid 90's was the Chicago, Detroit revolution, and the early 90's belonged to New York. I think you're just part of a niche crowd an don't realize it. I wouldn't be so rude but you just try to come off like you're here to educate me and "trust me" you are the amature.

  • i just noticed ur from american, What americans call house/dance in 96 is different from what europeans call house/dance.

And how can u say early prodigy sounds like that track i meantioned, thats like saying classical and rock sound the same. Tipical eraly prodigy song voodoo people sounds nothing like the tall paul mix, they lay out of the track its self is all different.

Tipical 90s song in europe were Lisa marrie experience "keep on jumping" Wildchild "renagade master"

    (cont:)

  • Tori amos "Professional Widow" infact if u just look at the Ministry of sound Annual 2 you will see what i call house/dance here in europe...

Wildchild - Jump To My Beat (Todd Edwards Mix) is a tipical style of music i would associate with the Chicago/Dertoit scene. But it was never that big as the style ive been showing you! Im not trying to argue with you or prove you wrong or in your own words educate you, Just providing you with information. I do like this style of dance/garage

  • just wondering what ur take is on this song cause i would say its a cross between garage and (europe) house /watch?v=o-Jtn2MBMrs

  • Todd is underated for his disco style tracks. Listen out for the sample of "Shout" by Tears For Fears in there absolutely fantastic production.

  • oh, the memories wonderful track. Todd at his best!

  • Brilliant Soulful Tune...Please, please Uk Garage producers. Listen to this and learn to make proper House and Garage music....Wicked tune!

  • Awesome :)

  • Tune and a half!!!
