  • This should happen all over India. Kerala had this movement much before independence..by great sree narayan guru, chattambi swamikal,etc.. This is the only way to have self respect than converting to other religions.

  • @pravicpu But the problem is - there's no real change. When the police is gone, will they be able to go in ? My guess is either the higher-caste Hindus in this town will build another temple or they will worship on different days. The point is - why remain in a religion which obviously doesn't want you ? By being untouchable, dalit, harijan, these Hindus are outside of the caste system : so where is their place within Hinduism ? They don't exist because Hinduism doesn't acknowledge them.

  • @FareezLovesMe Exiting a religion won't solve the problem. Other religions also has similar sects with much worse separations. Kerala is an example, we have no more such separations in Hindusim, but its becoming more prevalent in Christianity and Islam. Conversion is not the solution, If you really love the nation. Movements like above and literacy are the responsible solution for a better country with stability, culture, respect and dignity. Conversion is so irresponsible and coward.

  • @pravicpu As far as Hinduism is concerned, it is the solution. In Christianity and Islam, divisions into castes are superficial and can be easily corrected. In Hinduism, it's ingrained into the religion, into the psyche of the people. We are talking about reforming the minds of almost a billion people and how long will that take ? Ambedkar saw the situation as it is and that was why he converted because to him Hinduism can never be changed.

  • @FareezLovesMe No you are completely wrong. I am from Kerala and I know how the divisions in Christianity and Islam are becoming stronger here and Its becoming weak and almost non-existent in Hinduism. I am talking from experience and facts live from my place not from any Ambedkar, who is just a human. If you have pre-conceived notion then there is no point. I am an Indian and I trust and value my traditions and are willing to correct flaws than exiting and spreading around hatred.
