It's not that uncommon for people to drown in cars. In this case, all that needed to happen was to rig the back doors so the children couldn't get out and the parents sit and wait.

Very, VERY late reply but what they are singing is "Kagome Kagome"

The game consists of one child being blindfolded (or they cover their eyes), and a chain of multiple children circling the child. When the song ends they stop. (The last line of the song is "Who is behind you?" The child in the middle has to guess who is behind them. If they guess right, the child switches with the one behind them.

The meaning of the song and game are quite creepy. Like "Ring around the rosie".
