  • I am alive. too much.

  • perfect :)

  • This song is near at the end of the movie "The Lovely Bones" ! very good song and very good movie.

  • My four favorite words from now on "Skip This Ad Now". This song and "I'll Come Running" are my faves of this album, but I can really dig the whole album.

  • I love how subtle and intense this piece is. Check this out...(avante5.bandcamp.com/track/a-long-flight)

  • Does anyone hear the similarity to the song glycerine by bush?

  • @jim15ratm Anyone see any resemblence between this and jim15ratm's dick? 8=D

  • @MrMrLemons Why would you know the size of my dick?

  • @jim15ratm I think just about everyone does at this point

  • @MrMrLemons Oh...Good one?

  • @jim15ratm Thanks man!

  • Ah....... such sweet memories of the seventies. Thanks Brian for everything.

  • this sounds very similar to a sigur ros song. i think they stole this...

  • @ri394, as a musician, i dont sigur ros stole this song/chord progression/style but rather they found inspiration from it. though i feel that a lot of bands/musicians hear a style and they emulate it to sound "cool"/ "hip" but i do not think Sigur Ros is one of those bands. when i hear beautiful amazing music it inspires me to make my own music that doesnt sound like anything else, but at the same time we must emulate some sounds that we have heard in order to progress on them.

  • when im dying,im gonna reach for my ipod and play this...beautiful :')

  • I want it to be what I hear when I die; this and "Here Come the Warm Jets"

  • well fuck me pink

  • This is the music you hear when you die.

  • Dear Brian Eno, you are a man-God.

    Sincerely,

    KT

  • If Hope had a soundtrack, this would be it.

  • Speechless.

  • How can a song with no words describe how I feel with such accuracy

  • Un grand artiste, un grand album et une magnifique pièce qui résume très bien à mon avis l'esprit du compositeur ENO.

  • this reminds me of kappa's theme in the movie Sunshine.

  • Haunting and achingly beautiful....takes me so deep.

  • Waaaaaay ahead of his time (back then, at least)

  • @BlackSunSerenade a few years ago i told this young guy to listen to it - he actually came round to my flat - but he was disappointed. said it was nothing out of the ordinary. i said it was groundbreaking when it came out and even today the actual melody in the pieces is as strong as anything the beatles created. it still stands out today.

  • Repetitive splendor.

  • waah! *O*! We listened to this song in artclass when we were trying to create a picture by listening to music. Love it. :'D

  • this is really intense. i get a bad anxitey attack when i hear this song.

  • Thank god for Coffee and Brian Eno.

  • Pretty telling that this has no dislikes. A fantastic song.

  • I wish it bwas longer. I love it.

  • This reminds me of the main theme from the 2007 film Sunshine. When Capa jumps from the ship to the bomb that's heading for the Sun

  • incredible.

  • If I were a country this would my hymn, Republic of Me

  • how, with absolutely no vocal content, can this be called a 'song'!!

  • @TreborRebore Did someone drop you on your head as a child?

  • @bverrelli if so,it was obviously from a far lesser hieght from which you were dropped!

  • @TreborRebore

@bverrelli probably, but from a far less a hight than you

@bverrelli maybe, but obviously from a much smaller distance than you were dropped!!!

@bverrelli mmm if they did,i t was obviously from a far lesser hight than someone who may have dropped you!!

@bverrelli if so,it was obviously from a far lesser hieght from which you were dropped!

... Four attempts at a comeback.

  • @TreborRebore Did you consider differences in age, cranial resistance, and wind speed in your response?

  • @drroxxo1 I prefer trout

  • @palladinopaul (lights pipe) Indeed....

  • @drroxxo1 7 mistakes in one sentence. Shows how smart you are...

  • as close to a religious experience I will ever have.

  • surely this encapsulates the journey from the womb to the outside world!!...life!!..

  • @sortofsorted you mean labour? I think this song is even better than labour.

  • @Carb86 im a bloke so i would not have that kind of experience with labour, but i was merely voicing my thoughts of a truly class album, to me it feels so much like a journey, and yes this music definetly "feels" tangible to me....

  • @sortofsorted I'm not sure you got that I was joking. It may feel like a journey...but the one from the womb to the outside world is probably not the best description.

  • @Carb86 sorry if i came across that way.. it just reminds me of "a" journey that has to to be "tangible"... what better than the giving of life !!... a truly fantastic concept eh !!..

  • My favourite uplifting Eno.

  • this is probably the best song

  • Preciosa melodia...! Es Casi compasiva... Noble a los oídos... o.o

  • If there's a theme to the universe's creation. this would be it. makes me cry when i here it.

  • @popey111 funny you say that. I had a video from the museum of science and industry in chicago, about the universe' creation, and this was in it. It was the best part of the video.

  • If there's a theme to the universe's creation. this would be it.

  • brian eno is a genius.

  • Amazing how a song with no words can speak such volumes.

  • @Yamboozle I think it is natural.

  • thanks
