They removed the winter map cuz players from beta were sick of having it+ the normal one. That's why they bring it back only on christmas. They prly made it in 2009 and it stayed till halloween 2010.

They don't allow the seasons to be available all year long because each map is huge in file size, and allowing another clone of this map would be too much.

Also I'm not seeing how it's possible for there to be a winter version map replacement. Each map is a clone of each other, not just a reskin. And plus, since the last time the winter map was used, the current maps have been updates to fix map bugs (walking through terrain)

@an0my I replaced my Autumn map, I thanked the creator of the video, still not official, and still doesn't exempt Riot's laziness of not having all three maps in rotation. People also post those threads so that they don't have to alter their client because, to be honest, not a lot of people are comfortable with doing it, because the slightest misstep and you could have an nonworking client.

Also what is the point of snow, I fucking hate that. This game has cheap graphics, we don't need fucking snow and extra particles effects, alls it did was end up broken and cause people to whine lag which is probably the main reason you removed.
