I have my headset with mic attached to it and as i try to record with mic, the volume lvl is so annoying low. That line of voice is just about a straight line. So how do I make it more louder couse im out of options and i want to record...
@inBFMV -- It could be an issue with settings in Audacity. However, it's likely that the microphone is just not working with Windows or any other program due to an incompatibility of some kind. Microphones have all different kinds of impedance levels and compatibility issues from one computer to the next. I'd recommend getting a USB connected headset. That generally helps ensure compatibility with Windows and eliminates concerns about what audio level you are getting from your microphone.
you sir, are amazing. i had no idea that you had to change the mic settings with audacity. i figured it automatically changes to what you need. i was wondering why my recording was barely audible, although i just bought an extremely high rated mic
@bullyjohnson -- If Audacity isn't recognizing the microphone, there may be other issues going on. It's likely that the microphone is just not working with Windows or any other program due to an incompatibility of some kind. I'd recommend getting a USB connected headset.
