  • Hi there Ryan, I've just recently started airbrushing, I've got a Harder/Steenbeck 2 in 1 Infinity airbrush & use Createx paints, so far I'm practicing dagger strokes, shapes, lines & dots etc, I've tried doing pictures that I've cut out into templates but I'm struggling with it, the paint is reduced correctly & the airbrush is brand new so I know it's not my equipment at fault, I try skull pictures & I have problems with gum lines on skulls & shading too, what am I doing wrong? please help

  • Ryan, you've got some amazing skills! I've been taking up airbrushing for a little over 6 months now and I'm always looking for any helpful information and your vids are GREAT! So thanks for making them and I look forward to seeing more.

  • Fantastic mate, you make it look easy but I'm sure it isn't, I guess I'll find out soon...

  • Hi Ryan, nice job once again. Thank you for showing how you layout the picture. I have been drawing comics for some time now, so I am going to give this a try. Thank you for all the advice that you give and the explanation of technique. This is one of the best videos yet!! You are a real asset and I agree, best airbrush teacher on YouTube!! You hold nothing back for profit. Way to show the basics with primary colors.

  • Nice vids..Thanks. How long on average does it take to complete a portrait (photo realistically). Do you use Urethane's or Acrylics and what's your view on these. Thanks for your time. Nice work, much appreciated.

  • @fonzi883c

It depends fonzi. Sometime just a few hours and sometimes a few days. This one just took a few hours. Check out my airbrush advice video for the paint quesion

  • Your videos are by far the best out on youtube. I appreciate you taking the time to do it. I'm starting to get heavily into the airbrushing and the custom stuff so you breaking down the details helps alot. I got taught some about it while in school, but you know they just grace over it. Did you ever take any airbrushing seminars from Iwata or any other companies? Or are you just self taught?

  • @onesource63

I took one class in Las Vegas at the Airbrush Action Getaway in 09. It was the portrait class with Corey St. Clair and Steve Driscoll. Aside from that, I'm completely self taught. I have studied art my entire life though, so that gave me a pretty good foundation to start on. I do want to go on the record in saying that I HIGHLY recommend the Airbrush Getaways. There are so many artist there. I made sure to talk to every one of them and soak up everything I could.

  • Super nice work man!!

    Love the colours!

    thanks for sharing

  • Great Airbrushing, i know you said you use the Iwata brush but what is your prefered paint that you use...??

  • @shotputtman

I use Standox and House of Kolor, but in this video I only used primary colors to show that red, blue, yellow, black, and white are all you need to start off with.

  • sick !!! great style .subbed!
