I'm not liking this homeless chic. I understand her whole stance on anti-consumerism relating to the environment, etc.,etc. but it feels like she's mocking the fashion industry. I wish she would just stop producing for the bourgeoisie so she would make more sense.

Who will be crazy enough to wear such thing? I never saw anyone be called cool, or cute or sexy wearing clothing like that... so now come my question

you know, i always wonder that. but in my opinion, its because they sell their clothes like 12 times its own value, so when they make a sell, they win big time. :)

@ItsMrRob actually its not, and designers are rarely rich if they have their own brand (like vivienne) but they're famous. You can be famous with out being rich. As for the clothing, she uses nice fabric which is more expensive, especially if its not being mass produced. Designers make most of their money from magazines, Publicity, fashion week, and networking.

@RonaldBarone well its called taste. Confidence and Individuality over carbon copy. You never saw probably because you're not into it, and dont notice. Sexiness and cool rarely have to do with clothing, its more psychological. Clothing is about personal expression, not about defining yourself
