I know it's a game/fictional story, but I find it odd that a general and the president would consider a nuclear strike on Seattle to defeat the Chinese. Although it wasn't clear to me, I figure it would be a way of taking care of the Chinese and Russians at once. But, the general should've suggested to drop atomic bombs on the Chinese fleet before they enter Seattle, when they near the coast. Remember those nuclear tests in '46 where they tested them on a fleet of ships? Able and Baker.
