I was on the USS Constellation as an ABH, launching planes. I do not see an old Russian rust bullet, cleaned up and sailed by a inexperienced Chinese crew is any threat to the USA but I can imagine it makes China's neighbors a bit nervous. @andyisapro You might be right about that.. Housing prices are flying up way too fast. 15-50% a year is not strange over there. The market is flooded with people who speculate on the house prices. Normal people with an average job can't afford a house right now.. One other thing that might work against the scenario is that many Chinese still live in rural area's, and are not working in/for the mega factories yet.
