  • Iodine and iodide are not the same thing. IodiDe is what is in your seafood, seaweed etc. IodiNe that is added to table salt (poison) is also not good for you.

  • glutamate is an important neurotransmitter that plays a key role in long-term potentiation and is important for learning and memory.[2]

MSG is glutamate. perhaps its a flavor enhancer because our bodies crave it .

yes , my wife thinks im a buzz kill also,

  • i hate egg plant , it tastes like its already loaded with chemicals.

  • You should consider doing some of your cooking shows topless.

  • Try cumin and garlic with just a touch of cayenne with the chili powder for that "burrito" flavor. Trust me. Peace and love.

  • How do you know that "spices" = MSG. I appreciate your stuff, but it's not helping me in the ed department.

  • @guitarlovenjc You can't know that they are, but can't know that they aren't. I don't know how it is in Canada, but in the US, MSG can be listed under things like 'natural flavor', 'spices' and some other things.

  • I never thought I would test the detox properties of eggplant so soon (see my comment 4 weeks ago). I ate something that made me very sick for 4 days and on the 4th day I ate eggplant and it cured me immediately! This is truly a powerful vegetable medicine that may have saved my life!

  • we have no eggplant in germany, i didnt even know it existed lol

  • Really... I did not know that the nightshade eggplant could suck out toxins from the body. Great theme for addressing the poison in our water... My favorite salt is Kala Namak. (Himalayan Black Sulfur Salt), which is therapeutic.. I use chorella and cilantro juice for pulling heavy metals out of the cells.

  • A little bit of olive oil in the pan will make all of that much better IMHO. ;0)

  • Hey Sonia, I guess you are downtown, you can get some raw cheese from Mourelatos (st Catherine and guy) I get mine from there, the brand is called: "fromagerie l'ancetre" it's a bit more expensive but for the quality it's totally worth it! Thanks for the videos I'll give these burritos a try!

  • @Kaede069 Really? Wow that would make it a lot easier for me. I usually have to go to St Laurent or Atwater market to get it. So I don't go very often.

  • that looks so amazing, im going to have to try this out. Thanks!

  • Given that people are cooking less at home and buying either restaurant or processed foods, iodine intakes in the U.S. have declined from about 250 μg/day to 157 micrograms/day. Public health authorities recommend 150 μg or more and the need is particularly acute for expectant mothers. Daily Iodine intakes of 1,000 - 1,100 μg are safe for adults and children over 4 years of age.

  • The Salt Institute says that most salt used in processed foods is not iodized.

  • there is no iodine in sea salt it comes from sea plants or sea fish ! not sea salt .its kind like chlorophyll it has to processed by sea plants

  • In the United States, this began to be recognized during the First World War This led to a widespread movement to add iodine to salt. Some salt producers were initially reluctant, but by the mid-1920s, iodized salt was extremely common in many American markets. Given the success of American iodized salt, other nations began to include the additive in their salt as well, protecting their populations from fully preventable conditions caused by iodine deficiency.

  • Many things are natural sources of iodine. Saltwater fish and sea vegetables, for example, both contain abundant amounts of iodine. The material can also be found in plants grown on soil which is rich in oceanic materials, and in animals grazed on such soils. In some regions of the world, however, access to iodine is limited, and conditions like goiter are epidemic.

  • odine appears to have an important impact on the health of the thyroid gland. unhealthy thyroid can lead to a number of conditions, including goiter A condition called cretinism, characterized by developmental and mental delays, is also caused by iodine deficiency. The role of iodine intake in both of these conditions was recognized in the 20th century, and since they are fully preventable through diet, public health advocates hope to entirely eliminate them at some point.

  • sorry but Iodine salt is the best choice! for salt it was added in the 1950's north America has always had Iodine defiant soil. a necessary nutrient . and will aid in reducing Cancer from all types of Radiation Exposure !! the people that tell you sea salt is better for have been deceived. so unless you live near the ocean an can get seaweed regularly in your diet your cancer rate is 10x hire ! do some research on Iodine. wost country's have enough Iodine in there soil we do not !

  • mmm looks dank

  • Spices in the ingredients list doesn't automatically mean it's MSG. Also most people are very deficient in iodine. It used to be in our bread but they replaced it with something that actually depletes iodine. In Japan where they eat 50 times more iodine than us by eating seaweed they have the lowest rated of things like breast cancer while we in north america who ingest the least iodine have the highest rates.

  • @jackson32 i agree Iodine was added back when we had a real Government of the People! now they are spreeding lies to get people to eat sea salt with out the Iodine! that will raise the Cancer risk 10x

  • Make sure pot your using isn't made out of aluminum, alzeimers desease ain't as much fun as it's cracked up to be. I believe there's some kind of ceramic coated pots you can buy, I think mercola has a video about that.

  • Loved it!

  • Look for cheese that does not contain rennett (a by-product of veal production) which is made from the stomachs of slaughtered young cattle.

They disguise rennett by labelling it as "enzymes"

  • Fucking delcious thank you!

  • You eat healthfully. Good for you.

  • Here's something I just thought about...We try to find products marked Kosher, because we have found that they don't want to poison the...Kosher people ; )

Check that out and let me know if you agree?

  • The nutritional components in grape seed oil provide a variety of healthy benefits, one of the most important being their ability to slow down and reverse free radical damage and reduce the risk of disease – especially heart disease – and slow skin aging. Grape seed oil is a powerful antioxidant, 50 times more potent than Vitamin E and 20 times more effective than Vitamin C in destroying these free radicals, harmful molecules that roam the body and damage cells.

  • @freakoutguitarsolo1

Other studies show that certain components in grape seed oil can help protect the body from sun damage, improve vision, improve flexibility in joints, arteries and body tissue, improve blood circulation and reduce allergic and asthmatic symptoms by inhibiting the formation of histamines.

  • @freakoutguitarsolo1 , lmao sign metal band hahaha my arse! your the faggot mate get a life, grow a dick! get some friends and find a root! your 1 dilusional fuck! ,,\, suck me of cocksuker!

  • @CommodoreWog

doood get a fucking life, you are a racist and an internet stalker, hey truther girl block this shithead would you, he's been internet stalking me. he's a satanist.

  • PORN MUSIC AND BURRITOS... MY FAVORITE

  • ...'em that sure looks good...!

  • The MSG in Burger King's ketchup puts me to sleep, everytime, but then again so does listening to politicians sprouting promises they have no intention of keeping! :)

  • Google the term 'Poison Tap Water'...as of 3:30 pm CST, it has hit #1 google trends most searched term today...help the numbers grow to make a fight against this criminal drugging of our tap water...thanx Sonjia for allowing me 2 use your video blog 4 this message!

  • I always like to fry my tortillas a little on a flat skillet before I fold n roll. Just a flip so they blister a little. That is a good recipe, I like:)

  • i'm not a vegetarien, but thank you for the imformation on the salt and eggplants :)

  • I make peanut butter burritos. Sometimes tomato burritos. You can stick about anything in it.

  • Grass fed beef is good but you can only get if you live by Amish, fortunately a lot of them live in Ohio...Millet is a great source of natural folic acid.

  • fascinating...

  • Thanks Sonia, The Burritos look great, but you look way tastier.

  • I commend you on your brave cooking. However why are you using a plastic implement meant to slide under flat things like omelets and crepes, instead of a wooden spatula? Also a better cooking pot is cast iron because it conducts the heat more uniformly so you can simmer on low heatr and your mess never burns.

Another thing, why are you using onion powdetr and later add raw onion?

Anyway I learned about eggplant detox properties, thanks for the info.

  • "It's time to resist new world order and cook healthy meals... and I'm all out of vegetables..."

Not quite the same zing as the original.

  • google this:

    "Poison+Tap+Water"

  • didn't know about eggplant-thanks Karen!

you can also put raw eggplant with: ½ cup lemon juice

    1 tsp salt

    1 ½ tsp cumin

    1 cup raw tahini

    4 tbsp olive oil

½ cup raw sesame seeds and whir it around and now you have "RAW" eggplant hummus!

  • @nathuwjohn you could use this instead of the cheese??

yours looks so good! i'm hungry now =]

  • ur so kind..thanks for all this we appreciate it

  • Yum yum!

  • It's so easy to make your own bouillon. You throw in a bunch of vegetables in a food processor- celery root, leeks, shallots, parsley, carrot, etc with some salt. It doesn't solidify so it'll last forever in the freezer.

If you google 'Homemade Bouillon' you'll find a bunch of recipes.

    Love your vids!

  • @banjosnotbombs it is easy to make bouillon however, many of us lack time or fridge/freezer space to make it.

  • good tip on the eggplant, i would always just blast the heat on the oils and veggies, now i know better lol. thanks!

  • wow cool Im gonna start eating eggplant. Ya know when I first learned about gmos even before I noticed the flavor is totally gone from tomatoes and bannanas. We had so many strawberries and raspberries this year and when I ate a strawberry from the store it was huge but, it had almost a tastless fake taste to it. But the ones from the yard you could almost taste the acid in it and it was so much better. Now we have a garden of our own. ur food looks so good!

  • Also canned stuff has plastic lining on the inside of the can and with acidic canned veggies like tomatoes it sucks out a lot of the BPA that is in the can lining. So even organic canned tomatoes...will kill you.

  • Damn, I just purchased soup bouillon cubes with yeast extract (in other words, MSG). And I'm trying to teach myself how to cook.

  • Love ,love love this

  • NICE!

  • I tried vegetarianism for 3 months and was always tired and listless...it's not for everyone. If I don't eat grass fed meat at least three times a week, I'm a boat without a sail...otherwise, I say it's good for a good portion of the population

  • @mike6459 Same here if I don't have meat I lose energy and I even look pale and unhealthy. But I live in a part of the country that raises a lot of beef and I see the cattle roaming around grazing and stuff so I know that the meat I eat around here isn't gonna be that bad for me

  • The Revoloution is coming... HOLD ON...:-)

  • looks soooo yummy

  • Table salt also has aluminum added to it to keep the crystals from clumping. Isn't that nice?

  • About time you went vegetarian... you know there is only one animal deserving of mass slaughter.

  • @anarchore lol

  • Go with the real things, all this powders.. =P

btw, chili used to be used towards heart arythmia. A peace of chili, burns as hell, but shapes up the heart to a steady beat.

  • Avoid "Natural Flavors" also, so a Doctor told me.

    .

  • Next you should make some hash brownies lol

  • I find that using a lot of spices like you are, is resulting in the loss of some unwanted weight.

  • Great dish! Add some homemade guacamole, lime or cilantro for a zesty twist! Love the Funky Jazz Intro...it adds to the ambiance of the cooking experience...LOL

  • The price for onions today will kill you! lol What ever happened to 99 cents for 3 lbs?

  • you've inspired me to try cooking this dish!!! thanks!

  • omg...my g/f LOOOOVES Booritos vegetariano's...

We got some good taco trucks out here that make them with queso fresco.. uhhhhh...

  • I love em... they is goooood!!!!

  • What's MSG?

  • @charlesfloyb

Monosodium glutamate is a (sadly) common food additive. It has been known to cause cancer and worsen asthma, and it is found in most frozen foods, pizzas, chips, etc.

  • @charlesfloyb monosodium glutamate. It is found naturally in some foods such as seaweed but is added in unhealthy quantities to the majority of processed foods and is a known neurotoxin. search for Dr. Russel Blaylock here on youtube he is a neurosurgeon and talks about the neurotoxicity of MSG and other food additives such as the artificial sweetener aspartame

  • you know im gonna have to make some now lol. not fair lol

  • I love burritos. I used to take canned corn (yes, the nwo f's with corn now), black beans, diced tomatoes, cilantro, diced peppers, chili powder, etc, then take whole grain wraps and use my George Forman grill to it shut. Yum

  • There's a product called Better than Bullion, stuff is awesome for all things you might use a bullion cube for. They even offer an organic, non-gmo specific version.

  • If you can find a store that sells "Boars Head" brand deli meats & cheeses they are organic.

  • I guess we can get the pink Himilayan sea salt (corexit free). It's prettier anyway!

  • Yum...you really CAN have beans, but get the black beans (not in can)...also, you can use Quinn potatoes and a substitute jack cheese that does melt...@ any health foods market...keep the recipes coming...especially looking forward to any zucchini recipes, as we yield a LOT of them from the garden...Happy Cooking! ~Shine

  • I bought mayonnaise. It was written "made with olive oil". Thought i was safe.....Then i stupidly wait 'till i'm home before reading the ingredients:

Canola and olive oil....Canola first bien-sur!

Then i go to the ATM machine and it pops my name on the screen . It does'nt even do that at my bank....

    Is this beeing under attack?

    ...the burrito looks yummy btw.

  • Is our sea salt gonna have corexit in it now? Hmmmmmm

  • A little white wine would be perfect!
