Yeah, a few years ago, they found bone fragments and jaw fragments of the remaining two missing children. The ages met best with Aleskey and Anastasia. So they mystery is now done. But still, by far, my FAVORITE movie
BY FAR MY FAVORITEST MOVIE OUT THERE. I get sick of things easily except this movie. I watch it SO often and still finding myself having the craving to watch it often, <3
Guys it's not a Disney film, but yeah they did eventually find what they thought was her body.. Wasnt she burnt or something? I'm not sure but the film definitely isn't the real story . Loveeeee it though :)
im not being horrible about disney (luv the films) but there wasnt actually any evidence to suggest he was evil or good. some people said he used the tzar and tzaress like puppets, other say he was just a missunderstood holy man!
@MWCharke Rasputin was an evil guy who pretended to be a holy healer (Alexander, Anastasia's brother, had hemophilia and there wasn't any medical treatment for it back in the early 1900s; Rasputin preyed on their mother's fear for her son's life to get what he wanted).
@totesme14 Yeah, but evidence that strongly supported that wasn't found until quite a few years after this movie was made, so the fact that they played on the mystery was pretty cool. :)
they were all killed. the guards eventually had to shoot the children in the heads because their jewlery was acting as a sheild against the weapons

there's something really dull about heavily rotoscoped animation; like this and the Disney stuff like Pocahontas and Hunchback

@manbot47 what do you mean? Do you prefer CGI? Hand drawn animation is such a treat sometimes though.

In 1927, a boyish silhouette was trendy, as a dramatic change from Pre-WWI fashion which was restrictive and downright feminine.

I love this movie! This is an all time classic! I hope Disney will make a remake of this. Obviously the quality of the video is not quite good. lol

Love the movie, but Anastasia didn't actually survive. She was shot alongside her family, though she tried to escape.
