Great video. I was ready to take my sowing machine because I could not get it to work. I have the same machine as you have, and after looking at your tutorial I got everything working and I have already used it. Thanks for a great video.
Thank you for the detailed descriptions, your tut SAVED my birthday sewing machine from being returned.. because I thought the lower bobbin threader broke >.< Thank you!
Really good video. I'm a male trying to learn to sew, dont have much time for classes but your vid really helped me to figure out some basic stuff. Thanks. :)

First time sewing machine user here n this video saved my sanity! Was getting very discouraged, but this video saved me, and I finally figured my bobbin issue out! Thanks a million! Good camera views, can actually see what ur doing step by step! Good sound!
Thank you so much! That stinking bobbin seems to mess everyone up not just me. By the way the bloopers had me and my husband cracking up to the point of tears! The labels!!!
Frack. I was ready to toss this @$#* machine against the wall. Thanks for the tutorial. So what about the part of the thread that sticks out from the bobbin and needle?? Do you just leave it untied?? Or do you knot them at the ends??
I was wondering if you could explain how to put the bobbin holder back if you take it apart? I keep forgetting that I dont actually have to take the whole thing apart to get the bobbin, It looks right when I put it together but when I try to sew the thread gets caught up in the bobbin
I couldn't find the manual for a sewing machine and couldn't remember how to thread the bottom bobbin. It's a different Machine (Simplicity Americana SA2200) but this demo showed the exact same mechanism for that doo-dad on the bottom. Thanks!
Oh my, if that's a sewing machine mine must be an anvil or a locomotive, or a combination of the two.. LOL They are as heavy as anvils and run like locomotives..
How do you keep the thing from sliding off the table, or blowing away?
Just kidding of course! I guess I really do like the antiques.
u guys rock and i love the totally cool tumblers in the back ground...go RIDERS, green is the color . I,m a newbee at the whole sewing thing , trying to do a project that requires the use of such machine.
So helpful and greatly appreciated. I have been trying to learn how to use my Euro Pro Shark 60 and the bobbin loading has been my hang up I could not get past. You are awesome. And to add... not at all a dummy, a helpful person who was nice enough to take the time to show others how to use something.
Awesome, helped me out big time :) Not used to anything made in the past two centuries. lol. The previous machine I used was from 1890 (my great great grandma's).
I've had the same sewing machine for over a year now and I still can't figure it out. Everytime I hit the pedal, the top thread pickup lever gets stuck. Also, th needle doesn't touch the bottom when I twist he knob.
Ok, so i've been able to thread and insert the bobbin into my singer sewing machine. I have tried inserting my fabric to start sewing. It stitched my fabric for all 2 secs , then it would tangle up. I NEED HELP. what am i doing wrong :(
Wonderful video, glad to see another Shark Easy-Sew in operation! Also, glad to see the Sask Rider glass on the table! I am taking my Easy-Sew to class, making things which a novice can make; but the machine does me well.
thaank you soo much!! My machine was constantly bunching thread underneath my fabric until I found this video and realized that the thread was not inserted right!
OMG this was SOOOO helpful! I was ready to throw the machine against a wall until i found this thing. Thank God for souls generous with their knowledge!!
Honestly....this helped me so much! I just got my 1st sewing machine...well full sized sewing machine! I Threaded everything right then it kept jamming. Then I watched this and did the bobbin over and now it sews like a charm!! Thnx! x3
This is by far the most helpful tutorial I have found in 2 days of going thru tutorials. I've always wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine and was recently given one. The whole bobbin ordeal was a complete mystery to me until this video, so thank you very much.
if you want to get more hits on your video, you should tag it with a bunch of different words. I liked you video so much I'm putting it in a article I'm writing about tutorial videos (different than the one on making a great tutorial video). Consider tags like, "great" "educational" "how to" "DIY" etc. I watched a bunch of these, and it is a shame that crappier videos than yours have more views. btw, I formerly commented as postdimensional.
This is a very well-made tutorial video! You don't happen to be a librarian, by any chance? Anyway, I wrote this little thing about how to make a great tutorial video, if you'd like to read it, I would love your input on what I would possible add to it. Oh, it looks like I'm not allowed to have links. Well, if you're interested hit me back!
I REEEALLY needed this! Awesome Video....i am laughing at myself thinking "no wonder i could not get this machine going...lol lol lol....my version of how to do this was WAYYYY off....Thanks for the short and to the point KNOW HOW video...I am now on a roll.....
thank you for this great tutorial i tried many others but i ner understand how to get the threads together but thanks to you i can finally start sewing^^
You HAVE no idea how much this helped, I'm not a big sewer but i had this mini machine that i thought could help me with band patches on clothing and its been in my hall for 2 years. Now I think i might be able to get it to work. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again lady with the weird shoes!
Thank. You . SOOO. Much! You litteraly save my day! Someone gave me this old sewing machine and I couldn't find any tutorial on how to put the bobbin in! Thanx again!!!!!
